Jerry Sellers the president of Genesis Modular building was not willing to provide any details once he gathered the installation estimates from sub-contractors he selected. I assume we were suppose to trust him that they were reasonable and fair. The general contractor that he arranged for us to work with had given us a work sheet that when filled out would have given us the detail we were looking for. Mr Sellers never allowed that work sheet to be completed and adamantly refused to tell us what was covered by the $39,000 dollar installation estimate that he was expecting on top of the price of the buildings themselves. We asked for a full refund of our $3,000 payment and again he refused to return any part of it nor give us details of the additional $39,000 we'd have to pay him to have the modules installed at our site. Our only recourse was to take him to court. We filled a suit for return of our initial payment, but to date he has avoided being served. He even hung up on the sheriff's department, when they tried to meet with him. I would strongly suggest anyone else, (and especially Angie's list members} doing business with this individual or the Genesis Modular Building company. We have ended up with absolutely nothing for the $3,000. paid to him as of this date.
