GENE'S GLASS

It went nowhere… After several attempts to call them and also sending an email, I get no response at all so I am forced to write a negative review since they don’t want to be responsive to their customers or provide me Warranty service on the leaking window, so which was installed several weeks ago.

The initial work was done completely and then I was told they would order the additional glass for the remaining windows. I never got a phone call so several weeks later, I called them to find out if they had ordered the additional window glass and also let them know that the larger glass window they had installed had a leak because my interior paint was now peeling at the bottom of the window after a rain storm...and was told that I would get a call back, which I never received from either Jason or Robbie. After that I called back several times To no avail and then emailed them as well to let them know if I did not hear from them, I would post a negative review. Well, I have never heard from them and that’s why I am posting this review. So people are aware that this is NOT a good service oriented company and they do not follow up on their work. I am very disappointed But rather than hire an attorney To get them to adhere to their one-year warranty they gave me on the windows, I am moving on to another company to get the leak taken care of and more window replacements done. I do not recommend them.

I had two rooms with glass walls on the 2nd floor. A few other companies provided estimates and several didn't want to even attempt the work. Gene's was great from the start. I provided them pictures of the work and they gave me an estimate (in line with the other estimates) and could get it scheduled before anyone else. They came out with a crew and removed the walls quickly and without causing any damage. I will hire them again when it's time to install my shower door.

I tried several other large chains to be nameless, and either never got a call back or they were too busy or they referred me to a different one of their franchise stores. We even tried filling out a request for service on their websites. Robby at Gene's was great. They installed a seamless shower stall for us, and they repaired several windows that were broken (springs or glass). And their prices were fine. We received 3-4 other estimates first. I used them because they had done work for my sister too.

the work was done efficiently and the end results were amazing compared to the work previously done.  I cannot recommenmd them highly enough!!

He arrived on time and was very professional.  After examining the glass shower door that would no long close properly, he dismantled the door and reset the glass properly in the metal casing. He clearly explained the problem.  The door is now working properly.
Our only complaint is that we were charged for the tech's driving time, both to our home and back to the office at the regular hourly rate ($75), even though our town was specifically marked on their Angie's list map as within their service area.  This essentially doubled the amount they would have charged for charged for their service. We were not informed that this would be the case when we called for service.

No problems. Routine installation

.In this case, it was a simple piece of glass cutting...but whether I go to them or they come to me, the people at Gene's are competent, friendly, professional, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. AND they're much more reasonably priced than their competitors (like Lee & Cates, who charge a fortune for everything).
Whether it's a simple piece of glass for a frame or a major decorating job, these guys can handle it. I'd NEVER use anyone else

From the first phone call it was obvious they were the company to do business with.  They treat you as professionally on the phone as they do in person.  Ed came to the house and gave an estimate.  It was clear he was an expert and was able to easily answer all of our questions and concerns.  It was especially nice to get a real estimate and not a pumped up sales push.  Within days after placing the order he called back to say the enclosure had arrived and they were available immediately to install it.  Within an hour of that phone call two installation pros arrived.   Bob and Stan went straight to work and did a better job than we could have expected.
They didn't make any mess, they were exceptionally courteous, and when they were done the only way you could tell they were ever here was the bright shiny new enclosure they had installed.  
The price was VERY fair - after dealing with Ed we didn't even bother getting a second estimate.  Since then friends have commented that what we paid was great.
Bob and Stan are VERY trustworthy.  I'm not a fan of having people do work on my house unless I'm home but I would have NO problem trusting them and leaving them the keys.
We were so impressed we're already looking to do more business with them and have them doing an estimate on replacing some worn out windows.
Gene's Glass is top-notch.  It's rare to find this kind of service and quality today.

Gene's Glass came out promptly to give us an estimate, scheduled the work right away and their employees were completely professional throughout. They did a great job, even replacing a broken lock on one window, and cleaning up nicely after the job was done. We would definitely use them again.

I was very pleased with their service. This was a job that other glass companies in the area did not want to take on because it required cutting the glass out of the frame and replacing wood trim. Gene's did so without hesitation and quite adeptly. The two men who did the work were punctual and professional. They took care and cleaned up when the work was completed. I am thrilled that I was able to get this work done without replacing an entire door unit. The only negative was that I was not given any paperwork to confirm the warranty on the new glass and/or labor. This would not, however, prevent me from recommending this company to my friends.

They came out to measure right away, very prompt and courteous. They broke our soap dispenser when part of the glass fell from the window, but the Owner came out and replaced it.
