Overcharged, services delivered not what was promised. I was missing the wi-fi option and needed an OS reinstallation, they charged me a diagnostic fee on top of a virus removal and corrupt OS repair fee. There was no diagnosis done, there was no virus removed, and the only service performed was a reinstallation of the OS.

The installation went great but there was a lip sync problem with the existing sound system and TV which never got completely corrected.

The installer exceeded my expectations. My installer was David Zorn. He was the most helpful, cheerful and professional installer that I have encounter. My wife said he answered every question and provided information that he thought would be helpful. If you are having electronics installed from Best Buy definitely ask for David Zorn to be your installer,. I almost forgot to mention how thoroughly he did the clean up!.

They don't what they're doing. They one I used in Syracuse, NY was good. I've had them remove programs from my computer. I now have things on my computer that I don't know how it got there.

Excellently. Geek Squad rep arrived on time, was polite, yet friendly, very professional and took the time to explain all he was doing as he did it. He seemed sincerely more interested in getting it right than getting it done quickly to move onto his next appointment. He provided a written estimate of the repair which was what the credit card company requested -- it provided the basis for MasterCard to cover the warranty terms, which were quickly and efficiently done by MasterCard. The cost of the visit was also covered by MasterCard.

The technician evaluated the problem and advised the cost to replace the motherboard. I didn't make the suggested repairs because it exceeded the value of the laptop.

The Geek Squad was very professional and made sure that they addressed all issues before they left.  The mounting of a TV on the wall may seem like a simple process, but there is a lot of technical issues to deal with in setting up the television.  An investment that was well worth it!

The team worked hard to repair my computer which had a ton of viruses.  I feel they did an excellent job getting me in and out.

All the above items set-up without a hitch. The Geek Squad headed by Rick was knowledgeable and patient answered all of my questions, he and his partner were very courteous. I recommend them and the Geek Squad to anyone anytime.

I have always used the Geek Squad for any electronics installation at my various residences over the last 15 years. They are absolutely the best technical installation teams available. The actual installation, the educational tutorial post installation and the consultation provided prior to the installation are always conducted with the highest quality of accuracy and professionalism. I could not recommend this service higher!!

I have used the Geek Squad for over two years.  I started off paying a per-visit fee and then switched to an annual agreement.  This was great and provided quarterly "tune-ups," eleminated my concern over calling for help because of the fee, and allowed Mike to remote in to my computer to fix small problems.
Then, Mike, my Geek, found another job and left the area.  No notice or anything.  So, I called Geek Squad and they told be that he wasn't one of thier team members but rather a franchise owner.  Yes, I knew he was a franchise owner.  However, I didn't think he could take off and leave me haning.  He did.  Then, to make things worse, the corporate geeks also left me haning and offered service at $100 per hour; this during the period of time that I had an active agreement with my franchise owner.
Seems to me that if they are receiving fanchise fees and offering back office support...for a fee I am sure...they should take better care of the clients.
I would NOT recommend the Geek Squad again and encourage anybody cutting service contracts to be on the lookout for this sort of problem.

I think their prices are high, but they come to your home.  I was happy not to have to take everything apart, because it's so time consuming.  They came in, and did what they had to do.  I sort of felt like he talked down to me a little bit, but maybe he was just trying to make sure I understood what he was saying.  I got a 30 day warranty, so that was good.  They were OK.  I used them before to set up a new computer, and they did a good job. They came out 4 days after I called, and they were punctual, and professional.  I would use the Geek Squad again.

Geek Squad did not go the extra mile for me at all. They did not set up my e mail or Internet service. I felt that they were very lazy.

Geek Squad did a great job. They took time to explain- in words I could understand- what they were doing and what was wrong. I would recommend them to others.
