Not good. The service technician informed me that the service did include cleaning the outside unit. However, I was told by the customer service person that it was included. So no I had to hire another AC company to clean my unit.

AC went out during 100 degree day during the Memorial Day holiday 2019 (Monday), I came home with my dog to it from travel. I called Florida Cooling Store Inc. recommended by Angies List based on the number of satisfied customers (Tuesday). I spoke to Eric. He said they were swamped with calls and could not fix it until the next day (Wednesday). As I have a dog I was concerned. I called others on the list and the earliest was Wednesday. I kept working it and told Eric about my dog being home alone in the heat and asked him if there was an opening please call me. I came home for lunch to check on the dog and Eric called while I was home and said they could be to my house at 1:30 same day. I waited and he showed up a little bit early. Fixed the AC in 30 minutes. It was the capacitor. He spent some time verifying the connections were correct using the schematic on the back of the panel he took off. I watched this and asked him how many years he has done AC repair. 25 years was his answer. What a professional! I asked him how he fit me in on same day service. He said he was a dog lover and did not want the Pups to sit in the heat. I am so happy with this company that I would recommend them to everyone. Hat's off Eric, you saved my day! I was prepared to take the afternoon off to make sure the dog was ok, and I did not have to. Your price was excellent for the service as well. It is several days later and the AC is working like a champ.

Top notch service. I was having AC / Heat issues and after some internet searching figured I needed to replace the thermostat. I bought a replacement but the wiring became too complicated. I checked Angies List and contacted the nearest service to me. They had good reviews to begin with and were able to come the next day (Saturday). The rep showed up on time, asked some question about the issues and promptly wired in the new thermostat. As the testing was being done he checked the heat pump and promptly determined the heat switch was burned out due to the thermostat issue. He stated he could order a new board and return to replace it. On Monday he called stating he had the board and we scheduled for him to come on Tuesday to replace it. A very short time later the board was replaced, the heat was working again and everything was back to normal. I will definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone who asks. He went up and above to help me determine the issues, explain the remediation and do all the work quickly and professionally. An excellent worker and very knowledgeable.

This company is great. Eric, the owner, and his crew showed up on time and went right to work. I had asked a lot of questions by email and Eric took the time to respond to every question. He had told me the job could take up to 5 hours, but these guys were done and cleaned up in about 2.5 hours. I was so impressed with the job that was being that I called an old Navy buddy to come check it out. He was very impressed and the crew even took the time to answer questions he had. Needless to say he left with business cards. I did a lot of research over the course of a year. I got many estimates. No other company even came close to this company. No other company had the outstanding reviews either. A+ on BBB. I was pleased to get a military discount and a spring install 150.00 discount. Ive never given a 5 star review. This company deserves it. I'm very pleased with a quality job well done! Ive attached pictures of my old Carrier system and the new Trane system.

Excellent service technician. System was installed professionally and quickly. Needed to replace a damaged filter, this was done quickly and followup was done to ensure no other problems existed.

It was absolutely the best experience I could have ever asked for. Eric was professional, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We needed a new unit installed the same day and Eric, Florida Cooling and the technician made it happen. Great company!! Highly recommend them for anything ac/heat related.

I priced the system with 3 companies and the others came in much higher, like $1500 more for the "budget" version of a 2 ton system. Florida Cooling Store installed a 2.5 ton Trane system. They said that the 2 ton was a bit small for my space and we have had some issues with some rooms not cooling as well as others. As soon as I met Eric I felt that I could trust him. He spent time listening to my concerns and helped make the right recommendation for me. Even though the system I needed was not the one on the Angie's List coupon he still gave me the discount on a comparable system. He also brought over a room AC that we could use overnight in my 1 year old sons room until they could get the system installed the next day. This alone makes me want to always be loyal to Florida Cooling. To take the time to come back and set that up after hours was just above and beyond and made such a difference in my peace of mind for my son's comfort and health. The install itself took longer than I had expected, most of the day but, I had a sense that it was done thoroughly. After the install he walked me through the upgraded equipment and left the place as clean. No question about it. I will be using Florida Cooling Store as my go to for Central AC and Heating needs as well as recommending them to friends and neighbors.

Eric and his crew were great with the installation. They had the old system removed and the new system up and running in just a couple of hours. They cleaned up very well and followed up the next morning to make sure everything is running like it should. Great guys, highly recommend them.

Eric,s guys did an excellent job. The new unit is awesome. Everything is new again. We chose to keep the air handler in the attic to save space and the guys did a wonderful job. Brand new unit, thermostat and security cage. The price was awesome, as it was the best of 4 bids. Plus the unit has a 10 year warranty. I suspect it will run for another 30 years. I am thankful for the guys at the Florida Cooling Store for the quality of work, the warranty and the excellent install. They will be doing the same at my parents home in a few weeks. Make sure you meet Eric!

Within a few minutes of arriving, the problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed. I am really impressed withe speed of diagnosis and the no-nonsense approach to cost. There was no beating around the bush. He told me what the cost was, he fixed it, I paid him and he was gone. Professional and on point. Outstanding job!

Very smoothly. The gentleman I spoke to was polite and prompt with responses and very informative. I had no idea how to go about getting a new air conditioning unit (I've only owned a home for a year) and he walked me through the process and we were able to work out the perfect unit.

My mom needed a new A/C unit for her condo and after shopping around between 4 different ac companies, we decided to go with FL Cooling. We called on a Saturday and Eric came out the same day inspect the old unit and to take measurements. The following Monday, the FL Cooling folks were able to get the entire A/C installed (inside handler/outside unit). They did an awesome job and my mom’s A/C unit is working great! Very professional and competitive price. I recommended FL Cooling to my co-worker because her rental unit’s A/C went out the following week (crazy coincidence). She was also very happy with FL Cooling’s work. Additional note, we found out about FL Cooling via Angie’s List.

I was referred to FL Cooling by my mother, who was referred to them by a friend. Price has always been very competitive. Every time I use FL Cooling, for jobs big and small, they schedule repairs in advance, show up when they promise, work quickly and professionally, leave no mess, and best of all - they are tech savvy. Get an estimate, sign the work authorization, pay your bill - all electronically. Highly recommend!

It turned out really well as far as I can tell. Eric was my primary contact and he responded to my inquire immediately and he was able to provide me with a quote very quickly. He responded to my questions. He was able to change the brand of the unit and still was able to provide a good estimate. The guys came out promptly without me having to remind them. They was on the job site on time the day they were supposed to be there and they went right to work. They completed everything and cleaned up all in one day. They thought it might take 2 days. It was a very good price. They did a good job.

I purchased the $50 Tune-Up package b/c my A/C was running, but not doing a very good job of cooling.  The service technician showed up during the time frame we were given and promptly got right to work.  He was very courteous and explained just about every step he was taking to check our system with me which I really appreciated.  He initially thought I had a leak, (which would have cost me a lot more to repair) but was thorough in trying to isolate it and end up finding out that there was indeed.. no leak. :)  In the end, my unit was completely void of coolant and was in desperate need of a refill.  The deal came with 2 free pounds and I purchased an additional 3rd.  My A/C was taking all day just to cool down one degree.  Now it cools down much faster and the house is bearable during the hot days once again.  Thanks a lot guys!  Appreciate your business!

Submitted couple of online quotes....Eric was the first to respond with a detailed quote...His price was competitive too...
Being an out of state property owner, I was a bit worried....but, Eric took care of it end to end. He sent me photos after the job was complete.
When I visited the property after a month, the AC did not turn on. I placed a service call and he responded right away. It turns out the outside fuse was blown out (because of rain)...To top it off he did not charge me for this trip...

Installation went fine. However, once the system is installed and the money paid, forget ever seeing or hearing from Eric again.  Service calls are impossible.  He is a one man band.  He installs, repairs and sells.  However his attention is mainly on the selling.  Service after the sale is irrelevant.  He may be less in price but the aggravation is not worth it.

Eric provided a quote after I sent pictures of the old system and explained what I wanted. His estimate was considerably less than three others which I had received. He committed to a date and time of my choosing. They arrived on time and completed the job in about 2 1/2 hours which included the cleanup and testing.
I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I strongly recommend this company.

I contacted four different A-rated HVAC contractors and requested estimates from each.  I gave them all the same information. Eric's bid was much less expensive than the next lowest bid.  He was responsive, professional and did the job on time and exactly on budget.  Great experience overall.  I've already referred him to someone else. Will use him again.
