Description of Work: I have used Florida Bonded Pools to clean my pool for the past 6 months. I called last week and told them a stain needs to be removed. They came out today and the cleaning guy did nothing to remove the stain. He said it was raining and he could not see the bottom of the pool. The supervisor said someone could come out tomorrow but he would have to charge me a service call. All I had to say is "are you kidding?" There was no apology and no suggestions from the company to fix the problem where we both could be happy. Someone at the company hung up on me. This is a BAD company. Do not hire for any reason.

Description of Work: Constructed an in-ground pool and associated paver installation. All things considered a good experience with some relatively minor communication problems and issues at the beginning. The issues were resolved to my satisfaction and I would use them again.

Description of Work: Requested estimate for pool renovation. Was told quote would be provided within 24 hours but it was not. Had to call 3 or 4 times for them to finally provide the quote after almost 2 weeks from their initial visit. Tried to call them to discuss some questions about the quote but they never call back. Their quote was less expensive than others I received but their extremely poor responsiveness even before I gave them any money made me think it would be a nightmare to work with them. They apparently don't need the business.

Description of Work: We had an 11 year old pool that leaked, A LOT. Florida Bonded was on time with their estimate to remarcite and I chose them because of the Angie's list reviews. There were a few estimates that were a bit lower but the tie breaker was Angie. They finished the work on time and at the estimate. They were extremely professional. Several months later the pool was leaking again. I called Florida Bonded and they were out the next day to fix it. They have been back three times and honored their warranty. As it turned out it was a small leak by the spa drain that was not related to the remarcite. They paid for a leak detection company to come out, dive the pool and fix the problem. No more leaks. We have been so happy with them that we hired them to do our pool service. I have had some horrible trades people in our home but Florida Bonded is by far the best we have used. I would highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreThe sand was replaced in the filter last year by Med's Pools but over time I noticed the filter was not cleaning the water very well. By the end of the season, the filter would get clogged up if not backwashed every day. I also noticed through the sight glass when I backwashed, a substantial amount of sand was leaving the filter. Eric showed up before the company said they could get to me. He came prepared to do the work with the proper materials. He worked hard, clompleted the work, repaired a couple of damaged impellers, cleaned up completely, and clearly explained the issues to me. Eric showed me the sand that was replaced and the new sand that was installed, which was clearly different. It appeared the previous contractor installed the wrong sand. The fine sand (like playbox sand) was escaping through the mesh filter in the top of the sand filter and what remained was thick and clumpy. The sand filter is working perfectly now and I will use Florida Bonded Master Pools for all my future needs.
Description of Work: Replace the sand in a 250lb sand filter and repair damaged parts.

+ -1 moreThis company seemed to be very knowledgeable. We were very happy with how professional and polite this man was. He had a very good presentation for the estimate. We had a few different estimates. This company did give us a free estimate. They were not the cheapest we found. We felt that this would be a good company to use, but we were going to go with someone a little cheaper.
Description of Work: We had a man from Florida Bonded Master Pools come out and give us an estimate to renovate our 16 foot by 32 foot vinyl in ground swimming pool in our back yard. We were also going to have them install some new tile around the top of the pool.
