MELVIN SMITH of Fields Cadillac is an OUTSTANDING MARINE! I cannot recommend MELVIN SMITH highly enough! He is incredibly honest, hard working and absolutely dedicated to finding his buyers the very best car for the very best deal! I drove to Fields Cadillac located at 7999 Blanding Blvd., in my 25 year old Toyota. No A/C, no heat, windows did not work and the car stalled every time I braked, just a total wreck on 4 bad tires. Even though Melvin greeted me with a great, big smile, I sincerely doubted he would be able to help me due to my financial circumstances. I had been to another dealership that just simply wished me luck and could barely conceal their laughter as I drove off. Melvin Smith, ever the gentleman, sat me down in his office and said, “Let me see what I can do”. Just two (2) hours later I drove off in a beautiful, champagne colored Hyundai Elantra with a monthly loan payment I can afford! Once again, I cannot recommend MELVIN SMITH, the OUTSTANDING MARINE highly enough!!! I highly recommend FIELDS CADILLAC of 7999 Blanding Blvd., as the BEST CAR DEALERSHIP in Jacksonville! JIM SIGNORILE and his Salespeople and Staff are just so wonderful to do business with! I drove onto the lot in a 25 year old wreck and drove off in a gorgeous Hyundai Elantra, with a monthly payment schedule I can afford! My Salesman, MELVIN SMITH proved himself to be an OUTSTANDING MARINE who took my best interests to heart and succeeded in getting me an absolutely incredible deal! The PERKS you are given for buying your vehicle from Fields Cadillac are absolutely incredible and leave you feeling pampered and valued! Love Fields Cadillac!

It's terrible. You go in and buy a Cadillac and you expect to get a certain quality of care. They are the worst that you have ever seen. I bought my vehicle from them. The car is nice but if it wasn't under warranty it would have cost us a fortune to fix. Their service department is absolutely horrid. I think they thought that because I was a woman I would not question them on it because they tried to pass off used parts as new. I can tell the difference. They were awful. My husband came back from the service and had to fix everything. Once you buy the car they are not worth dealing with.

This dealer has a pretty good service department but it could be better, considering that it is Cadillac. They performed an oil change on my car and did their normal multi-point inspection as most dealers do. The oil change was actually pretty reasonably priced but every time I take my car here they find three or four more things that will cost at least $500 to fix, so be careful about their tendency to push more services on you, regardless of how well you keep your car. In spite of my car having had a throttle body cleaning not too long ago, they said I needed one, which when I asked, they said it was based on mileage, not on the actual dirtiness of my throttle body. Once they looked at it, they said it was fine, but if I did not push them, I might have spent more than I needed to spend. Their prices for these ancillary services are also very high, but that is to be expected in a Cadillac dealer I guess, although they seem higher than others I've dealt with in my experience of having four different Cadillac automobilies over the years.
