About us

Luis Merchan, owner of Euro Spec, started out working for Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz dealers in South Florida at the age of 15. It is here that he began gaining knowledge and perfecting his skills in quality European car repair. He owned shops in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, providing quality service and repair for BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen, among other exotic cars. Luis has also built a number of high performance cars for celebrities, such as Miami Dolphins' Dan Marino and Duriel Harris and music legend, Jimmy Buffett. Luis moved to North Florida and opened Euro Spec to be close to his children, Ryan and Jessica. Ryan and Jessica play a huge role in running Euro Spec, ensuring they uphold the best in quality European car repair and service, and also making sure customer service is the best in the industry. Euro Spec has been in operation since 1994 and started as a one-bay, one-lift, one-man operation. Luis has put together a team of expert and professional technicians to expand to a 3 bay, 5 lift service center always striving for 100% customer satisfaction.
