This was a very difficult project. The technician did a great job and as someone who has been in construction for 40 years, I would highly recommend this firm

Very happy! Owner is straight forward and honest, kind of hard to always reach as he is busy with jobs. They charge a 3% up-charge to use a credit card, but the price is very competitive even with the up-charge. The crew arrived around 8 am, started promptly, laid plastic down everywhere they walked, even swept the stairs as they left. I’d use this company again.

The owner was the one who came out initially and came out afterwards. His team was very professional and timely. Things went very well, it was a very pleasant and painless experience. I had called several other companies and one of the companies I called actually told me to call Energy Seal because of the quality of the spray foam and associated equpiment for application that he uses. It was definitely worth it to call Energy Seal and I was happy I had the work done.

I could not be happier! I had Energy Seal spray foam insulation on the underside of my mobile home. The guys were very polite and professional. It only took a couple hours and they did not leave a mess. I can't believe the difference it made! There's no more creaking or echoing , it feels solid now. I wish I had done it sooner. Worth every penny!.

They did a great job. The foam provides excellent temperature insulation and better sound insulation than fiberglass, so I don't have to worry about garage work disturbing my neighbor. Garage has no ceiling, just a gable, so the spray on insulation was really the only way to go.

Very well. Stan was responsive and professional and his workers were efficient and conscientious. It’s an expensive service and Stan was not the cheapest but i trusted him to do the job right and he did. My only concern was that we witnessed a lot of roaches coming out of the woodwork after the service.

Stan and his team are awesome. They are prompt, answered every question, and returned every call. The crawlspace under our house was flooded during Hurricane Irma. The old owner used open cell foam which absorbed and retained a lot of water. Stan's team removed the old stuff and installed closed cell foam. He even offered to lend me his heater blower to dry the crawlspace at no charge! I highly recommend Energy Seal. Great People. Good price. Honest.
Response from Energy Seal Inc
"It was sad to see an unscrupulous contractor sprayed the wrong foam under your house. Difficult to remove but glad we pulled it off. This winter you will be warm!"

Great - Workers showed up on time and were well prepared to accomplish the task. They were very professional and completed the job on-time. The installation has made a hugh difference to our second floor temp. The attic remains about 10 degees warmer than in the house - which is a tremendous improvement!
Response from Energy Seal Inc
"We had the pleasure of sealing the subfloor of this home years ago for the previous owner. Now they have the attic done as well making this home very energy efficient. The bill will drop significantly and the heat this winter will NEVER come on at 68 degrees. Call me 1 day when it's freezing."

Fantastic I called this company and the president called me back to explain what they could do. I selected foam insulation for our home built in 70's. There was a very good crew who arrived on time and finished job in about 4 hours. They even did garage and I cannot wait to see the savings on my next utility bill. We may not even need to turn heat on in winter here on SSI!

It went very well, I would come home late afternoon and the house was hot 79° and the air conditioner would run continuously. After the spray foam was applied the temperature in the attic went from 130° to 88°. I get home now and the house is cool and comfortable. I also look forward to the winter time when the house will be warmer than before. Thanks Stan you and your crew did a wonderful job and I'm very pleased with the performance of your product. R.D. Excellent. They showed up a few min early and finished early. They did a great and professional job, and cleaned up before they left. Couldn't have gone better. Also, other companies had a 3 week wait and they did our job in less than a weeks notice

First off, this review is a mixed bag: Stan Nagle (Mr. Energy Seal) is a character and it's hard to go h****** him. He does prov ide a service, and a useful one, but the devil is in the details. Stan (and his company, Energy Seal) to not own or operate any spray foam equipment. His operation is strictly a sales conduit: He or perhaps is team if he has grown, comes out, sells you on the product (spray foam) and then he uses a subcontractor to do all the actual work.
His subs are people who invested a lot of money in this spray foam equipment but did not (and probably never will) do what it takes to generate those leads. So Stan books your job and hands it off to some people over whom he exerts minimal control. And there is no assurance they will be the same people from one job to the next.
If you have a complaint afterwards (as I did and as a close friend did) forget it, you will get no satisfaction from Stan. His involvement ends when he races over to the job site, maybe before the work is even finished, to collect a check because his guys need gas money to get their equipment back to wherever they are based (Waycross, Savannah, etc.)
In my case, the actual work was performed by Thermal Contractors, based out of Waycross, GA. Ever see "Deliverance?" Well, suffice it to say that the crew was rather colorful. I could hear "Dueling Banjos." Unfortunately, although they were generally helpful and pleasant and took meticulous care to wrap up any items in the basement where they were working, I suepct one of them must have relived himself in the chemical vat because the job stank for months. And I mean "stank", like living over a toxic waste dump. Almost intolerable, every so often a big blob of noxious fumes would drift upstairs into the living areas of our home.
Mr. Nagle had assured us this would not happen but there was nothing he co0uld, or would do, when we pleaded with him for remediation. Oh well, after a year or more the smell abated and the excellent spray foam job remained.
So what to say about this outfit: If you really have an issue with their work, you will have trouble figuring out from whom to seek recourse and the company itself may be more-or-less judgment proof with few assets. The subs are probably not licensed to work out of their home states, if there. Who will ever know? You won't know who';s d*** the work until a truck shows up, long after you paid Nagle his deposit etc.
On the other hand, there is value in salesmanship and Stan is a great if roguish salesman. He got me to buy the job, who knows if I would have ever pulled the trigger without his empty reassurances and confident mien. So chalk me up as "so-so". I'd warn a friend before letting him buy from thisw outfit but I would not absolutely rule it out either.

Response from Energy Seal Inc
"[Member Name Removed], Back in 2008 yes were struggling to buy a truck and trailer at a cost of approximately 100K. We were a new outfit and had to other subs to get the job done as well as be at their mercy if there was any problems. It is now 2017 and we own 3 rigs and all employees have been with me for 8 years. I have completed over 3000 jobs in Jax and if we ever have an issue it is attended to immediately. All past issues aside could you please tell me how the foam has worked for you over the years? I vaguely recall this as a subfloor installation."

Owner of company was extremely slow to pay his supplier of spray foam insulation. This resulted in us receiving Notice to Owner letters from his supplier and some rather heated telephone calls between the owner and my husband. After more than a year, numerous telephone calls between my husband and the supplier, as well as the supplier suing the owner and company, the issue was finally resolved. If we had it to do over again, we would certainly hire another company to install this product. Spray foam insulation is a good product; however, this company was completely AWFUL to deal with once the sale paperwork had been signed.
Response from Energy Seal Inc
"Mrs. [Member Name Removed], At the time of your job I was parting ways with a co-owner and had to deal with a lot of surprise bills in addition to carrying the whole financial load. The supplier always sends out Notice to Owner forms like with any construction(roofing etc.) to make sure they will be paid. A lien was never placed on any customers home and we have never had any problem since 2009. It was a difficult time but we overcame it. We have now completed over 3000 homes in Jax and are #1 in our market. It has been 8 years since your install an I would like your feedback on the sprayfoam performance. I am truly sorry for the problem at the time, growing pains but overcome."
