Electricians "R" US, Inc.

I got a discount because it was through a friend. They are reliable. They come out and do the work but my advice is to not let them put any holes in the wall, because that was awful. It was done in three days. It was fast from start to finish. The price was fair.

Mr. Majesty of Electricians R Us was called in the morning and promptly
showed up at 10am before I arrived at the house.  The problem was that
one of the contacts on the power meter was shorting and needed
replacement.  When I called Mr. Majesty I told him that I wanted to be
there when he did the work.  I arrived 10 minutes after he had arrived. 
He told me the work was done and that I owed him $400.  I asked him to
provide me an itemized bill and to give me the part that he replaced.  
He opened his van up and pulled out a part and handed it to me.   He
then provided me a bill that listed a cost of $120 for the used
replacement part and the rest for the service call plus the permit fee
($60).
I told him this was too much a used part and for labor since he had only
been there about 1 hour including my time discussing the bill.  He
threatened to place a lien if I did not pay him.  I paid him.  He
left.   1 hour later, I pulled the meter off the box and looked at the
part he handed me and compared it to the parts in the meter box.   It
was obvious that the part did not fit the box and that Mr. Majesty had
not replaced any part and had only opened the box and bent the contact
to make it work temporarily.
I called Mr. Majesty and told
him I would cancel the check.  He came back over and threatened to sue
me and have me put in jail for writing a bad check.  He claimed that he
just handed me a random part from his truck and that is why the parts
did not match.
He left.  I did not cancel the check.
I
believe that Mr. Majesty cheated me out of $400 and lied about the work
he did not perform.   I fixed the meter box 1 month later by having a
new contact part installed as I watched.
I would stay away from
this guy.  He is not honest.  Also, if you read his incredible service
contract that he makes you sign after he has already done work on your
house, you will realize that he is not a fair business man.  The
contract basically makes you liable for anything that he could do
wrong.  It gives him the right to own all of the parts he removes from
your property.
