Eagerton Fence Company

My experience with Eagerton Fence was not what I hoped. Beverly came and did measurements and sent me a contract stating I would receive 110ft of white vinyl fence and 52ft of black aluminum fence for $3100, a great price. We signed the contract and she let us know that work would begin in 3 to 4 weeks. A few days later I heard from her and she let me know that she misquoted us and that the price of the vinyl had gone up so they would not be able to do the fence for less than $3,800. We still believe that to be a fair price we have a very large yard so we signed the new contract she apologized to us profusely for the mistake I wrote it off people make mistakes That's fine. We heard from her a few weeks later and she let me know we were scheduled for a fence to go up on Friday. I thought that was great it was a week earlier than what she had expected I asked her if I need to be home or if I had to leave in the middle of the day would that be a problem and she said that I needed to be home so I took that day off of work and waited. I got a call at 9:00 on Friday morning for her to let me know that they would not come and do my fence today because they were too behind on other projects. I let her know I was disappointed but that was fine she told me they would come Saturday. I was told the crew had a few panels to finish up and then they would head my way in the morning. I checked in with Beverly at 12:00 on Saturday afternoon because nobody had yet shown up and she let me know the crew is on their way they had just finished another project and would be at my house within the hour. At 3:30 that afternoon I got a text message from Beverly telling me that she's sorry the contractor didn't follow her instructions and and that nobody would be coming to do my fence until Monday. The crew arrived on Monday and was confused by the plan that she had drawn up for the fence because the plans were incorrect. It seems that it was a mirror image so we were able to figure it out and they begin work on the fence. They sent two men they worked very hard got it almost finished in one day very impressed with the work of the contractors the lead guy's name is Reggie he worked very quickly they cleaned up their mess and that part was a great experience. however because the plans were not drawn up correctly the contractors did not place the gate in the right spot. Because of this error my fence was shorted by 8 ft but I liked where the gate was so I told them to just leave it that it was fine. I let Beverly know that her crew was lovely and that there seemed to be a small mistake and I would appreciate if she could deduct 8 ft of fencing from the price of my fence since I would not have that fence put up. She flat out told me no the agreed upon price was $3,800 and she would need to collect the full amount once the fence was complete. She told me that the price of vinyl had gone up that she gave us a really good price and didn't charge extra because the vinyl went up in price, except she had gone up $700 off of her original quote so clearly she did charge us more than she originally would have because the price of the vinyl had gone up. She told me that she could either have the crew move it or she could leave the extra panels with me but she would need the full amount for the fence of which 8 ft I do not have. I don't have anywhere to store 8 ft with a fence panels so I don't want them I just wanted a little bit of money off the price of my fence for fence that I don't have after I took a day off of work without pay, on Friday for her crew not to show up, then canceled all of my plans on a Saturday for the crew again to not show up, and now the small error of the missing 8ft of fence. I do not recommend doing business with Eagerton fence but I would recommend their contractor Reggie. He paid very close attention to details and making sure everything was done correctly and I do appreciate that which is why they are getting a two-star and not just one

This is the most unprofessional person. Several time she has promised to get the fence completed or areas fixed. We are now over seven months and this is still not what we paid for. She has repeatedly lied to us, the legal office and now the police. Mrs. Eagerton is now ignoring phone calls from everyone. the people that she contracted out would show up at 10- take an hour lunch break and leave by 2/3pm. She would have to hunt them down when they wouldn't show up. They showed up with wrong materials - NO TOOLS were provided for the workers- NO KNOWLEDGE of what was to be done. As you can see they had no idea how to install the hardware - gates - install fencing around a tree stump- install a fence in a straight line. We paid to have the old fence removed and hauled off. The back fence line posts were all kept in place (thus us losing property). When the next person showed up they just threw a few on our fire pit along with their other garbage. They stored several pieces on our property for at least three months - stating that she was given the materials. A couple time she stated she was leaving to get materials or text us she was getting materials and would be back and never show up. We have a post that is screwed into our house - sagging gates - sagging fence (due to no concrete or not enough concrete) scratched and dented materials, materials cut too short, posts with holes in them since the workers didn't know how to install - (plugging the holes- NOT what we paid for) Posts installed crooked and the list goes on. This provider has left us with defective gates - bent, scratched and broken materials. Sagging gates with holes in them. Please see this list that were have been lied to about getting completed since the beginning of February. NOTE this job started around the 20th of September 2016

They are excellent.  Their price was great and they did the job in a timely fashion.
