If you''ve ever needed a plumber and had no real idea of who might do the job at a fair price then you can relate to my situation. I called and contacted 3 other companies however DMV Plumbing returned my contact inquiry almost immediately in the morning and set up a time for his plumber(s) to come out to the house early afternoon (Gene and Corey). Gene diagnosed the problem and obtained the necessary parts for repair. I was able to put the water back on to the house before my wife came home. I will also say that during the time they were here they were courteous enough to explain everything they planned to do and why. Gene also made suggestions on how to approach repair of secondary problems. Btw I never even got a call back from the other 3 companies.

Really he can fix really old stuff from the 80's.

Excellent service! David and his helper arrived exactly when they said they would, they promptly completed the replacement of the ice maker valve. They even made & installed a new water line between the fridge and the valve. They cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly and professional. I would definitely hire them for any plumbing needs that I have as well as refer them to friends and family.

David and his assistant Steve were great from start to finish. I have no complaints whatsoever. David is very hands-on and with his assistant's help, was there day in and day out getting it done. No sub-contractors or others doing the work. They were always on time and cleaned up well each work day. At the end of each work day, David would walk us through and keep us updated on how everything was progressing. Can't say enough about how easy it was to work with David on this project.
In total I maybe had 6 different estimates. David provided me an estimate very promptly after giving me a free in-home consultation and it was very reasonable in comparison. I explained what I wanted and he was very thorough with this explanation and suggestions on what the work entailed. He was available whenever I contacted him and very respectful throughout the whole project. He provided tile samples to choose from but unfortunately the tile we chose was discontinued. That wasn't a problem because it gave us the freedom to choose our own and also David made adjustments to the estimate as his tile options were included in the original proposal.
There were a couple of hiccups but none due to David. The wall tile I selected was not the best for the shower wall as he had problems cutting around for plumbing. We all worked through it and came up with a solution that we're very satisfied with. There was also a problem with the glass door that was ordered from another company as it was not perfectly flat and straight. David handled it and got it fixed. No additional costs for any of these issues.
I will be hiring him again within the next few months to go ahead and do the tub-surround tile. This wasn't really in my original plans but after seeing the kind of work David does (and the fact that I have mismatching tile work now), I'll be moving forward with him really soon. I would highly recommend him if you're interested in doing any bathroom remodeling, you won't regret it! Thanks David!

He and his coworker did a great job.  He was quick and professional and kept me informed.

A big box retailer was delivering our new clothes washing machine and had difficulty removing the old hot water hose.  They couldn't get it off the valve on the wall and in the attempt to get it off they damaged the valve and the pipe in the wall.  This caused a slow leak that was dripping into the dry wall.  With a leak in our wall and the need to get to work, we called DWV plumbing.
DWV answered the phone promptly and we described the situation to them.  They asked how severe the leak was and when they learned that we were concerned that it would damage the wall, they told us they would come out the same day.   We scheduled a time in the early afternoon and to our surprise they called early in the day and said they had finished the project before us and could they come out early.    When they arrived they assessed the situation, recommended new valves, showed us the replacement parts and told us what they would do, how long it would take and what the cost would be.   They then did exactly what they described.
We were very happy that they handled this call so promptly and did NOT charge us an emergency call.   They were courteous and informative while in the house.   We would recommend them to others.

Technician arrived exactly at the time that was prearranged.  Technician was professional and courteous in all respects.  He answered all my questions.  He repaired the hot water faucet in the master bathroom.  Since I had the parts from the manufacturer, he also replaced the parts on the cold water faucet.  He didn't mess around.  Got inthere and complete

We had several plumbers give us quotes for the job at hand.  DWV's estimate was very competitive.  David and his assistant arrived at the agreed upon time.  They not only replaced but removed the old plumbing in a very timely and efficient manor.  I would recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

Plumber has been to residence previously to disconnect plumbing fixtures and stub-out water feed lines.  He was back at residence for two plumbing emergencies due to broken PVC pipe and ice-maker water line.  This last service call, he came out on a Saturday without additional charge.  Everything professionally completed within reasonable time constraints.  This guy is quick, professional, and charges are very reasonable.

On time--knowledgeable--professional and friendly.  Would not hesitate to call them again and have referred them to others.
