The Durance Tree Service owner and team is AWESOME! Professional, excellent service for a very fair price. Stacy and his team were on time and they were fast and efficient. Out tall tree in a tight spot was cut down and removed in the flash of an eye! They trimmed several additional trees and cleaned up debris! WE LOVE DURANCE TREE SERVICE and we highly recommend!

Punctuality - Due to arrive between 8.00 - 9.00, nothing by 9.30 so my wife calls as she has taken the day off to get this done and other chores. Advised they will arrive between 10.30 - 11.30, they arrive at 12.20, thanks. Billing - One tree to be removed. Admittedly they had to use a truck with a basket to remove it from the back and because it was dead. They arrived removed the tree and were looking for payment in less than 30 minutes / $700. I was told the cost was mainly because they had to use their truck which cost $225,000, really. Even if this were true, to bill $1,400 an hour to remove trees, now that's a good living.

Great price, professional team, no damage, no mess. Would highly recommend.

Stacy Durance gave me a reasonable quote and we scheduled the work for the following afternoon. He said he would call me in the morning and let me know an approximate time window that he would be onsite in the afternoon. I arranged my schedule to be at home the following afternoon but no phone call from Stacy and he was a no show. I cannot excuse such a lack of professionalism and common courtesy of at least a phone call to let the customer know that they could not keep the scheduled appointment and attempt to reschedule at a later time. I would not recommend this company and will not waste my time with them again.

They responded well to my inquiries about insurance, etc. Their estimate was lower than the others and they asked questions to help me keep the price lower (Another company estimated much higher claiming the work involved in getting into the yard. Durance asked if they could take a fence panel out to access the yard. Made their work easier, my price lower, and they were careful with my fence. Their willingness to problem solve was an advantage all around.) We had a complication in that they couldn't grind the stump right away. The crew realized that cutting into the stump would make the neighbor's portion roll and crush their fence. Instead of taking a chance, they stopped, we made arrangements for that portion, and they came back promptly to finish the job. They didn't ask for payment until the job was done. My only complaint, which I have experienced with other tree companies, is that I have ruts from the machines and some roots that I still have to deal with. I would definitely call them again.

Stacy gave me an estimate that was less than 1/3 the estimate given by another tree service. He called to schedule the service, and he was prompt the morning of the service. His workers were pleasant and helpful. He left the yard cleab abd kiijubg good.
