+ -1 moreI was initially charged $285 to replace a dryer thermal fuse. With a 20% discount, it was reduced to $255. He was here for 45 minutes. There was no breakdown on the charges. He stated he charged a flat rate of $85 + parts. So, essentially, I paid about $200 for a thermal fuse, which costs $13. Outrageous!! I could have purchased a new dryer. This is his pattern. Avoid!
