Dish Network

I have two accounts and two homes.  They allow me to power off the one while I am not at one of the homes.  Occasionally, I do loose signals when it rains, but it is rare.  One is DDR and other one is a basic one.  I have one dish and two receivers.  I can watch two different channels.  They are very responsive.  I had a terrible experience with another provider.  I get a good service and I am very pleased.

I'm unhappy with Dish Network. Every time it rains, our service goes out. The other day, we had a tornado in the area and they didn't even post a warning on the screen. The service went off and that was the end of it. We didn't even realize the tornado was so close. They did nothing. They taken services off and raised the price. We're not really happy with them, but we don't know where to go. At first, we thought it was great but they've made a lot of changes since then.

The installation went extremely smoothly.  He was prompt and informative.  No issues here.
The problem began when we needed someone to come out because something went wrong and we lost reception.  We tried technical support via phone.  Although they were very nice and helpful, we were unable to resolve the problem.  They then set up an appointment for a technician to come out and fix the issue.  The appointment was for a week later.  They said they couldn't get anyone out there any sooner so we had to wait a week for service.  Totally unacceptable.

I had a check that didn't process. I got ahold of the bank immediately and was informed it did not process properly. I called Dish Network and told them of the bank error and that I was going to pay with my Debit card instead. which I did and it went through. They said they would disregard the check the processing fee, however, they went ahead and processed the check for $127.50 twice, which accrued a $32 fee with my bank and a two fees on my account with them totalling $19.40. I called and requested a refund, which they took care of for me. In the mean time, they tried to charge me three different fee's on my bill.  They shut down my service for 19.40  and have continued to charge me triple. I don't recommend this company for anybody and I am trying to get rid of them. I will not pay the $19.40, since I already paid them. I believe they lived about what they were doing. Apparently they are not a good network.
