DAVIS SERVICES

We had a brand new generator that we had used for a couple hours last year with no problem. However this year when we started it, although it started easily, it had no power so we took it to Davis Services in JAX to have them look at it to find the problem. We left it with them on a Sat morning on our way to board a ship for a 6 day cruise and made arrangements to pick it up the following Sat morning but after the cruise they weren't open Sat so we ended up going home (125 mile drive) and calling the following Monday. We were told that the generator wasn't worth fixing and that they would keep it without charging us. Upon thinking about this we decided we would pick the generator up and let someone else look at it since we had paid over $400 and it was still basically new so we called Davis back to say we would be back to pick it up ....... they told us there would be a charge of $20 if we wanted to keep our generator so we paid the $20 and they gave us back our generator in pieces in a box.
