Jacksonville native, Daniel, started his landscape maintenance and design company in 2001. The company was started with minimum equipment and a few customers, with a rapid referral rate Daniel expanded to Danscape Landscape and created a well known reputation for quality and service. By 2007 Danscape Landscape became an L.L.C. In 2008 Danscape moved forward to become an industry leader by being an environmentally friendly company with his equipment meeting California's "Green Company" requirements. Licensed and Insured. They were fine. The were pricey in other way. They charged fees that was not mention in the beginning, it was not in the fine print but they did the work.

The clean up went very well. The weekly maintenance has been extremely successful thus far. I'm very pleased with how I find my property each week. It's well manicured and maintained.

Company was extremely professional and prompt in communications with me. The work was performed in a timely manner and so far the sod has maintained. A few areas in need of repair were not completed, but I believe that was due to lack of sod (I only ordered one pallet). Still, I highly recommend Danscape for any sod replacement needs.

They come out every week. I have to say for the amount of money I pay them, I'm not as happy as I thought I was going to be. I'm going to give them a little bit longer before I take action. For what they do every week for me I'll give them a "B". They're too expensive for what they do. They're very responsive for coming out every week. They come out every week to do their thing. They're suppose to come out on Mondays but sometimes they don't make it until Tuesday which is really not a big deal. I'm not going to hassle that bad. It's landscape after all. I say they're pretty professional. He gave me a list of things he was going to do for me for the amount of money I pay which is more than I paid my previous landscaper. I went ahead and signed an agreement with him because of those extra things but yet I;ve had to call them, actually text them and say hey these things aren't being done. As soon as I did that, they came out and did them but I don't think they've done it since. I'm going to wait and see how it goes. If It keeps where I have to constantly say hey you need to come out here and weed, then I'm having to hassle them. Right now I would probably not tell them anything. If somebody ask me I'd tell them you need to be careful about using them. And it's not that I think they're bad, I think they are over extended.

Highly recommend!! They did excellent job re re-routing my sprinkler. Very professional & explained things. I even asked questions on changing sprinkler heads & Dan showed me how it works & how to change since I like to learn the basics. But most things I will definitely give them a call. Very impressed & I like to do my homework & read reviews

They come every week. I had some issues in the beginning with the work that was being done, however I sent an email to the danscape office and they took care of the problem immediately. I was pleased with the result. They are very responsive to any issues that arise.

Dan was patient and thorough in helping me think through the elements, process of landscaping a small front yard with river rocks i.e. types of rocks, size, color, integrating plants/flowers, potential restrictions re city planning, etc. Additionally, he and his wife provided websites, directed me to local nurseries, etc to learn more about rocks, drought tolerant, heat resistant flowers, etc. He and his workers removed existing bushes, checked and repaired sprinkler system and installed some drought tolerant, heat resistant plants that I had purchased. Additionally, he was able to assist me in having a stump ground up. In the midst of researching and deciding what elements to incorporate into the yard, the city street project that impacted the front of my property began to progress at a faster rate than originally anticipated. Based on his experience, Dan advised me to postpone the completion of project until the street and sidewalk replacement is complete. Since we made that decision, they have checked in with me to determine the status of street project.

They are always very responsive. If you call or e-mail, they return your call or respond to your request. They show up on time and do outstanding work. His pricing is fair and they always complete the task to your satisfaction. If you want something done well at a fair price, I highly recommend Danscape. They are the best I've seen to date.

Everything has turned out good thus far. It was very smooth. He had 2 helpers that did most of the work. He was here 3 or 4 times to make sure everything was going right.

We first met Dan after getting multiple $5K quotes on how someone was going to transform our yard. We had no interest.
Dan came in and suggested a full cleanup of what we had and then gradual changes over time. Basically said he wanted the long term business and would be happy to do as much or as little as we wanted. So we started with the cleanup and we have had them back several time since then. Each time they are professional and do a great job. We are slowly working on a plan for our house and Dan has been patient in helping us implement it.

Dan installed new sod for me. His price was more than fair and the work was excellent. If you need help or advice with any type of landscaping, Dan is the man to call. After having been stood up by a couple of companies (one "no show" on never returned call) we called Danscape. Daniel came over the same day to assess the issue. He returned first thing the next day and in one hour had sprinkler heads replaced and balanced. He was prompt, polite, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend Danscape Landscape!

Removed old mulch and shrubbery and leveled soil then put down large river rocks. Trimmed hedges and cleaned up yard. 100% improvement over what was here. Friendly and professional staff - absolutely beautiful a job well done. Highly recommend Daniel and his company.

As usual, Daniel came through again! We use him for our regular maintenance and occasional side job. He put in a large viburnum hedge, drift roses, copper plants, and potato vines. We also had our mulch refreshed. Daniel fixed a broken sprinkler head my husband ran over and did an irrigation tune up where he went through the system to ensure everything was working properly. As a side note, we were having a small party last weekend and I called Daniel to ask him on short notice to rake our leaves before it was on the schedule. Daniel came out personally to take care of it.
