The Dana Hancock Team consists of six licensed Realtors; Dana Hancock, Elizabeth Testa, Cindy Moody, Justin Ryan, Christine Sullivan and Caroline McCarthy, as well as our full time transaction coordinator, Patrice Appleyard, and our Listing & Marketing Coordinator, Jen Spicola. Dana Hancock was our agent for the purchase of a foreclosure property in Julington Creek Plantation. My partner and I have acquired other properties previously, but never had a good 'agent' experience - at least not one that we wanted to brag about. Dana did what she said she was going to do, when she said she was going to do it, and kept everyone involved up-to-date throughout the process. On the very few occasions that Dana wasn't available to show a property (when we gave her 30 mins notice. Our bad!), her support staff/team was eager to meet us and allow us to continue our search without interruption. When issues arose, and they always do with foreclosures, we were hardly aware. She'd share with us some issue that our Lender or third party had surfaced, and in the next breath, "it's taken care of". Dana took care of everything! Without doubt, the most impressive aspect of having Dana working with us, was that she had our back - the entire time. At closing, she reviewed every single document, had to correct the Notary repeatedly (sweet woman, but she was just doing things carelessly. Not what you want at a closing). I've paid attorneys in the past that didn't have my back anywhere near like Dana did. Our relationship with Dana is just beginning. I can't imagine wanting to purchase additional properties without her involvement. She's got more energy than JEA, is fun to be with, but is a hawk when watching over what others are supposed to be doing and will watch out for you like the transaction was her own.
