Dana was awesome from start to finish of the sale. I talked to 3 realtors about the sale of the house and Dana came in with an estimated selling price which was almost $10k more than the other realtors I talked to. In doing so, she explained how she arrived at the number. The market at the time was very strong and while other realtors were pricing based on historical data she was looking at the market and housing appreciation she was seeing. In the end the house closed for more than the other agents were going to start at and Dana met with the appraiser to make sure they would approve the loan for the pricing base on the current market. We were out of state for the sale of the house and Dana's team did an excellent job taking on the additional burden of making sure contractors and inspectors could get in to do their work and coordinated with an estate sale company we worked with to get the furniture and personal items the family didn't want to keep out of the house. Dana kept us in the loop through the whole selling process. Including detailed feedback of house viewings and a good sounding board for offer decisions. I would strongly recommend talking to Dana if you are considering selling.

From beginning to end of our home buying process, this team had our backs! My husband and I are first timers and I found this team on Angies List and decided to give them a call. Dana called within the hour and set me up with Cindy Moody, who was our agent through the process. This team is very personable, professional, and knows their stuff! Cindy helped guide us through the trials and tribulations of finding THE house, getting us through the endless paper work, inspections, and closing without us having to stress or be confused, and she didn't even seem to break a sweat. She even made appointments and bugged the bank for on our behalf.
I cannot recommend this team highly enough. And I will, absolutely seek their help when we eventually sell this house.

Dana Hancock was our agent for the purchase of a foreclosure property in Julington Creek Plantation. My partner and I have acquired other properties previously, but never had a good 'agent' experience - at least not one that we wanted to brag about.  Dana did what she said she was going to do, when she said she was going to do it, and kept everyone involved up-to-date throughout the process.  On the very few occasions that Dana wasn't available to show a property (when we gave her 30 mins notice. Our bad!), her support staff/team was eager to meet us and allow us to continue our search without interruption. When issues arose, and they always do with foreclosures, we were hardly aware. She'd share with us some issue that our Lender or third party had surfaced, and in the next breath, "it's taken care of". Dana took care of everything!  Without doubt, the most impressive aspect of having Dana working with us, was that she had our back - the entire time.  At closing, she reviewed every single document, had to correct the Notary repeatedly (sweet woman, but she was just doing things carelessly. Not what you want at a closing). I've paid attorneys in the past that didn't have my back anywhere near like Dana did. Our relationship with Dana is just beginning. I can't imagine wanting to purchase additional properties without her involvement. She's got more energy than JEA, is fun to be with, but is a hawk when watching over what others are supposed to be doing and will watch out for you like the transaction was her own.

I was very pleased with the entire process from start to finish with Dana and her team. The pictures taken were very good and we had an overwhelming response from buyers. Once the house was under contract, they tracked all aspects from inspection to survey and coordinated all efforts. They made the sell of my home less stressful by ensuring everything was taken care of. They were always open and available to answer any questions I had as well as the overall cost through Angies List was less than other agents. The sale was smooth and without issues. I would recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home.

Dana and her team did an excellent job selling my house. We put the house on the market on a Friday and had offers on the following Monday. Her insight and professional advice was invaluable throughout the process. She saved me money by advising on which repairs I needed to make / vs repairs that prospective home buyers wouldn't care for. I highly recommend her and I will definitely use her team in the future.

Agent found homes based on our wants.  Placed contract on foreclosure, since it was a foreclosure we thought it would be a bumpy ride.  We found that for our end the buyer it ended up alike most home purchases, a little annoying but not to much trouble.  We found out at closing that alot of work was done behind the scene by agent, dealing with some way out there requests from the bank owned home.  Agent took our best interest to heart and keep the purchase on track and close to good faith estimate, even closing early.  If you decide to purchase a foreclosure, experience by agent a must, or you may find your story ending different than ours,  Would recommended highly!!!

Dana and Pam were exceptional as they assisted us in finding our new home.   Dana always pointed out the pros and cons during our search and she truly represented us when it was time to purchase.  She and Pam were at all the important appointments and their professionalism and experience exceeded our expectations of their service.  I highly recommend the Dana Hancock team at Re/Max to anyone who is looking to purchase a home in the Duval/St Johns County area.

My husband and I have a been flipping houses since 1984. When we were younger we would find an agent, randomly (a freind, neighbor, at the kids shcool, etc...) After a few flips, I realized what a ASSET a knowledgable agent COULD BE. Most agents didn't have the experience to guide us through anything out of the ordinary. Real Estate deals are ALL "out of the ordinary". So when we relocated from California to Jacksonville, we noticed the SELLERS agent was AMAZING. Maybe it didn't benefit US at the time... but we noticed. When we were ready to flip that property, we called DANA. What a difference. She KNEW the answers to major questions, Patrice her -Coordinator was very good at QUICKY getting things done. (love that). They were on top of details without us having to ask. Pointing out things we may not have focused on, and watching out for us in a way I wasn't used to. The thing I really admire about her is how she doesn't get her "feathers ruffled" at little stuff. She just makes sure it gets taken care of. She has a tremendous amount of experience and knows how to manouver through the CHANGING market. Go BIG or go home......There is alot of money at stake !!! Get an agent who is BUSY.... KNOWN and works in Real Estate FULL TIME. No complaints from us. We just made one of the best deals EVER on another fixer, and we will call her when we are DONE with that one too !!

I found Dana after some problems with an agent I had planned to use. I had learned that the Dana Hancock team is one of the top five teams in Jacksonville. Before long I learned why. Dana's theme is "Selling more for less." Other agents I considered were charging 6%. She charges 4.95%. Dana quickly found some comparables and encouraged me to price the house appropriately. The moment our house was ready to be listed, the listing was done and posted on the Internet with photos. The house sold the first weekend it was listed. (Granted my husband had gone over it meticulously to make it presentable.) Since we live out of state, Pam Johns had to handle all of the appointments that are needed before closing. When there were problems or questions, she took care of them quickly and smoothly. She encouraged me to stay on top of everything, and she did the same (only better). I'm happy to say that the house closed in 30 days. Knowing the state of the market we were afraid the house would be on the market for a few months; that was not the case. If you are buying or selling property in the Jacksonville area, I encourage you to call Dana and her team. Be ready to move!
