The gentlemen arrived at 9:30am, pleasant and professional. I had a few objects in the way and they actually offered to move them for me, but I would not allow. Choosing D and D Garage doors was the right choice. First off, Nick the repairman was on time, very professional and knew exactly what he was doing, He had a tough job, he had to replace just about everything and handled it like an absolute pro. He finished in quick time and the price was very reasonable considering the amount of work done. My Garage door works better now than it did when it was first installed. I will call only them from now on and will certainly recommend them to anyone.

I feel that he provided an excellent service. He not only greased the door, he made sure that it was balanced and close correctly if we lost power. He also explained to me how to secure the door during a hurricane, He checked to make sure all of the wires were connected properly. Wires that he found on the sensors that were connected with a wire nut, he updated the wires to a sleeve connection for added protection from corrosion. Overall this company was very professional and I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Went great. Here on time. Both Honesty at their business location and Keith Johnson, who offered initial estimate and also did installation, were really terrific. Very knowledgeable about the products,capable and efficient at installation of both the Lift Master garage door opener and the garage door itself. Also, great personalities for both - which was a contributory factor in my decision to go with them instead of another company. Would re-hire them in a minute, and highly recommend them. Great. He came in, listened to what we wanted, drove back to the shop and got the reinforcement bar and was back very quickly. He was done in an hour as promised and was pleasantly whistling while he worked and seemed happy. It was nice to see someone in a good mood working in a hot garage in the middle of the day. He answered our questions and did not try to sell us anything we didn't need.

A little mixup on original appointment time, had to reschedule twice, the reason for the and quot;Band quot; on punctuality. Also a little longer time on getting the door then they initially stated. But they more then made up for it in the quality install. Did a very thorough and professional job.

Both of my garage door openers were not opening our doors correctly so I called Dand D that morning, and they sent a technician out that afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem as being and quot;the limitsand quot;. After resetting them, he then serviced both doors including lubing all rollers, hinges, and springs. He also tightened the hinge bolts in each door.

Our 20yr old garage door opener finally gave up on us. and we weren't sure if we needed a repair or a new unit. We contact Dand D Garage Doors based on good interactions with them at the Jacksonville Home Show. We called in the morning. They arrived that afternoon. After reviewing the system - as mentioned it was 20 yrs old - we decided to go for a new unit. They had a decent mid-grade system with them and installed the same day. They also did a full inspection of the door and rollers. Service was courteous and prompt.
A few weeks after the install the chain of the new opener appeared loose and noisy. We called Dand D back out - they did a minor adjustment (no charge) and were again very prompt and courteous.
We will definitely use Dand D again for any garage door needs.

Went fine, the service person that showed up took a genuine interest in fixing the problem and would not leave until I was 100% satisfied the job was completed and the problem receified.

First of all they were able to come out the same day I called and the guy was here in just over 1 hour. My garage door was not working correctly. The service guy that came out was professional and seemed very knowledgeable about my opener. He replaced the circuit board and got us running again in under 30min! I marked the price as and quot;FAIRand quot; because a lot of the other companies I called were cheeper on their service fees and some would wave it if you got work done. That being said I would use this company again for the punctuality and there professionalism. Great job!

They knew which door I had, I gave them information on it and they sold me the correct things to put in, which was nice. They made sure that it was the right length and so forth. They were good. They sold me what I needed and I was able to put it in. They had put in our garage door for us and it seems to be functioning fine. I went back to them to get the gasket because I thought they would know which door I had and so forth. Their price was great. They were very helpful.

"We have a dozen brands of door remotes in stock and can add universal transmitters for newer operators. Generally any openers from before 2000 would be out of production and it would be cheaper to buy a new operator and remote combination."

We returned home one night to find the garage door would not open. On investigation, we found the screws that hold the opener to the door had torn out of the sheet metal completely. This was a Saturday night, so the following day I found D and D on Angie's List and linked to their web site, where I was able to make an appointment online. There was also a 10% off coupon for members. Monday morning early, they were in touch both by phone and e-mail to set an appointment, and the technician (Joey) was out that same afternoon. He repaired the damage such that it looks like the same thing will never happen again, and adjusted the springs, which get weaker with age and needed tightening to take the excess weight off the opener. We have two doors on the garage, a two car that was damaged, and a one car that was working fine, although I wanted him to check it as well. He tightened its spring, taking the time to verify that the door was balanced, and then lubricated everything and checked it all. I asked him about upgraded doors- insulated as well as more storm resistant ones, and he had literature with him and gave me brochures showing everything they carry. He was quick and professional, in and out in a little over a half hour, and with the coupon, my total was $80.10, including all the materials for the repair. It was about as easy an experience as I can imagine having.
