See above for some of the details... Nancy and her daughter Shannon did a fabulous job on everything they did. The work was meticulously done and extremely professional. Nancy can repair a wall so well that there is no trace of even having to have work done. She is very knowledgeable, and had a way to address every challenge presented. After painting the first coat in the living room, she saw some areas that needed further repair, so she took that opportunity to be sure it was perfect. The results look better than new! (I'm serious... my walls from the 1960s look better than those many new houses built today!) Nancy and her Custom Wall Works provide full service painting and wall repair. Other painters I've used in the past wanted to have all repairs done before they applied the paint. Not Nancy... she comes in and does it all! In addition, her work ethic is incredible. I found on Day 1 that Nancy shares my Christian faith, and she lives it and applies all the best of it to her work. I highly recommend Nancy for your painting and wall challenges!!
Nancy gave us an estimate for additional areas that we are considering wallpapering and also provide approximate amount of paper needed to complete the job.
We are very pleased with the results!
Hard working professional, she identified some mold problems and corrected same. I would call her in a moment should I need any other services.
"Dear Sir, I do regret that we did not meet your expectations, but I implore you to use a reputable carpenter to install your trim the next time. The company you used had huge gaps on the 45 degree angle cuts and their nailgun and conpresser was turned up too high which made the nails penetrate to deep, therfore it took so much caulk that it kept shrinking as I had pointed out to you. Since you scheduled us in so late, time was a factor because of the wine party you were hosting. There is an old saying that goes like this; Caulk, putty and paint, will make a carpenter what he aint. That saying really comes through when a painter follows the carpenter you used. Some of the gaps were 3/4", so it is a really good thing your trim was painted, and not stained. Anything over 1/16" painted, (1/32” stained), is unacceptable by our standards when we install wood work. We worked the best miracle we could with the situation and time frame you gave us. I told you we guarantee all our work and if the holes and gaps continue to shrink as it dried to call me to come back when it was convenient for you at no extra charge. Out of 15 years of painting I have never had anyone ever say that my trim work was less then excellent, so you are the first. With no hard feelings I wish you and your family the best in life."
