Crystal Clear Irrigation & Landscaping

The reason for the poor grade is not service, or quality it is more the lack of capacity.
Apparently business is so good and Clearwater is in such high demand that we can't get them to come out and give a quote.... John Haney (owner) is the only one who can give a quote for a bigger job incorporating gutters, drainage, french drains and landscaping... Apparently he is not available for love nor money either...
Although my overall grade is an F, I am certain you can see where this could be read as an A for Clear Water...  Congrats on the good business.
Now if I could only find a business cousin to Clearwater that does as good a job that could provide a quote and get to work, before I need to build an ark!
P.S. The lady on the phone was gloriously professional despite my pleas kudos to her for that.

Clyde was honest and fixed my sprinkler system with no hidden charges.  Clyde told me what the service call was going to cost and went way beyond a standard service call.  He fixed my sprinkler system and also repaired various sprinkler heads. I would highly recommend Crystal Clear Irrigation.  

Clyde was very responsive. I called him on a Tuesday and he was able to come out to look at the pump on the following day. I had already called three other Angie's list irrigation providers and they were available about 3-4 weeks later, but I needed it fixed ASAP. Clyde was able to come out the next day (Wednesday) and by Friday he had the spare part and the pump was working and my lawn could get watered again!
Clyde and his crew were very courteous and responsive and polite.

We recently bought a new house.
The new home's previous owner had installed a concrete parking pad and rear patio and in the process completely tore up the irrigation system. The irrigation system was a mess.
Clyde figured out how to cap the lines that needed to be capped, installed new lines, fixed the broken lines and made the system operational in a day.
He also put down new sod when needed.
His price was reasonable and his work was great.
I  recommend him completely.
Clyde had done work on our former home's system and we were very pleased with his work and price.

One of my pipes broke on my irrigation system on a Friday evening shooting water everywhere! After I figured out how to turn it off that night I knew I had to call someone first thing Saturday. Clyde answered right away on a Saturday morning. Since he knew I was able to shut it off and it wasn't an emergency he set up a time to come Monday morning (which was a holiday I might add!!!). He came on time, was very efficient, polite, and fixed the whole thing in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this company to anyone and will definitely be using him again should we ever need maintenance.

Clyde Dodge and his assistant came out to repair my water main shortly after I called. he was the 4th person I called as he is 4th on the list. #1 and 2 didn't answer the phone and 3 didn't have a worker available. Mr. Dodge is  professional and courteous. he said that he considered a burst main to be an emergency situation which is why he came out so quickly. I watched him repair the pipe and he did a great job. He and his helper, AC, do a variety of jobs, including sod and landscaping. I am having him bid on several other jobs. AA++

Clyde Dodge quoted me a fixed price to pull up concrete in the back yard, pull up white rock in the front plant beds to replace with mulch, sod the front yard, repaired the sprinkler system to code, planted trees and perennials. He selected the plants and perennials. I am very pleased with my new beautiful curb appeal. I won the ‘Yard of the Quarter’ in my subdivision.

Clyde happened to be open that week (winter months) so work went as schedule and on budget. All in all, things went well. He did a fantastic job with landscaping of the yard and we gave him free reign on plant selection. We had a tricky pump and he did a good job with repairing the pump.  

This project went quite well. Things have since not gone as well as I asked him to come back to fix the pump again after it began to sink into the lake and adjust coverage. This time, I called him when he was busier (now late spring). He repeatedly said he'd be at the house the next day and didn't show up. After showing up he fixed the pump but it broke the next day due to the fix. When I contacted him again about when he was going to permanently fix the system, he didn't respond to calls or text messages. While I would have loved to continue to stay loyal to Clyde, he's forced me to go elsewhere.

All in all, I really liked the service of Clyde when he was slower and more hungry for work. At this point, I would not use Clyde again in the future due to a lack of response when I needed the system to be functional, thus killing quite a few of the plants that he just planted. This is the reason for the mixed review but this would have been an A review if it were just for the primary project.

I called Clyde on a holiday and he answered and was willing to come out the very next day.  Since my husband and I had to work, we arranged a mutually convenient day that week and Clyde showed up right on time.  He went straight to business, diagnosed the problems quickly, fixed them efficiently, was pleasant and professional, and everything was quite affordable!  We had been putting off getting the sprinklers fixed fearing it would be a long, daunting, expensive task and it was painless thanks to Clyde!

Clyde came to my house immediately when he heard about my sprinkler not being able to be shut off after running all night long. He was quick and professional. He got to the problem immediately and didn't try to sell me unnecessary things. His rates were very reasonable and I would use his services in the future.

They were prompt, friendly, and provided us a quote quickly.  Ultimately, we decided to go with another solution for our drainage issue.

They were very professional and completed the job on time. Works great and we love that they used Rain-Bird products. We are completely satisfied.

Returned calls, showed up at agreed upon time, performed work agreed upon, and did so at agreed upon price.  Did everything as he said he would do, I'm very pleased at the professionalism of this company.  I would hire again or recommend to anyone.

irrigation issues I presented to him on two separate occasions at two different
residential properties! His approach was of keen analysis to determine the

modifications of controller settings, etc.) On both visits, accompanied by his

They arrived on time and quickly identified why I had two zones with little to no water pressure. They replaced broken equipment and reset the system within a couple of hours. Excellent work by a great team.

Clyde did a great job and was great to work with.  I was shocked at the final bill given I had a quote from another vendor that was 4x the price for most of the same result.

When I first called, Clyde answered immediately and agreed to come out the very next day.   I told him  my house was being re-roofed that day and that I was concerned the roofers and their materials might hinder Clyde's progress, but he said he was used to working around roofing jobs, so no worries.   He arrived just when I had expected him, got right to work on the problems and  didn't seem to be impeded by all the roofing activity.  When he left, my system was in working order again. Clyde  obviously knows his stuff, his charges are very reasonable, and he is also a pleasant and good-natured guy (a bonus).  I will definitely call him for any future irrigation problems!

I called Mr. Clyde at 9:00 am on May 13th and he told me that he would be to my home at 4:00 that day.  At 4:00 I went to my front door and he was in my driveway.  I had a large broken pipe underground  in my front yard and some of my sprinkler heads needed to be adjusted.    He knew exactly what he was doing and his price was very reasonable.  I am so happy to have an honest irrigation company that I can trust and not take advantage of me.  I found Crystal Clear Irrigation on Angie’s List.  I am soooo happy with this company!!
