Not much to report. We read some good reviews on Angie's List, met with Chad, then hired him to finish the floor of a covered patio. He was responsive at first, provided some samples of colors to look at, then promptly dropped off the radar screen. We have bee nip unable to contact him and he has not contacted us.

**UPDATE**
After a bit of a rocky start, Chad came in and knocked out the job. We are pleased with the result and with the quality of the work. Time will tell about the durability of the product (micro-topping), but we are satisfied with the look and feel of the product.

The work was originally slated to be done in March, but multiple weeks of delays pushed out to April.
Underestimated the quantity of concrete, and as such had to order/pay the concrete supplier directly for a second truck.
Chad's people did a very poor job at stamping in many places as well as uneven coloring of the concrete.  Multiple sections where not enough release was applied and caused suction marks on the concrete.  In addition, many cracks in the surface concrete due to improper curing.  As a professional concrete company, they should know exactly how to prevent this type of cracking if the surface is drying to fast.
We've paid Chad in full with a promise that he would return two weeks later to fix sections where cracking and uneven colorization occurred.  As well as final cleanup issues which were not addressed the last time they were here.
We have left multiple emails and voicemails over the past 2 months with absolutely no call backs.  It is obvious Chad and his company have no intention of coming back.  We'll have to hire another concrete company to fix the poor quality of Chad's work.  We only hope that we can recoup some of this additional cost after filing in small claims court against Chad.
Please review the pictures in this review so that you fully understand the quality of work
you can expect if you make the mistake of hiring Creteworx, or whatever company Chad starts back up if this one is now defunct.

Numerous errors in finish details as evidenced in photos below. Slow, now no response from contractor. Has quit concrete business.

They were very professional, very personable, and easy to talk to. Very helpful and concerned about me and my needs. Throughout. A man of his word. A very concerned contractor. He had fair pricing for the job that he did and the job was very well done. If I have any more concrete work of any kind I would be delighted to call him.

The driveway was shorted, where they did not replace all of the existing driveway - an 8 x 3 (approx) section was left without concrete. There was absolutely no cleanup and follow up. The worst part was was FRAUD against my credit card used by creteworx. The credit card number was given to Griswald Concrete and there were unauthorized charges ($1,500) against the account. I have not had a return call from Chad to follow up to explain what had happened. Really disappointed in Angie's list as I joined for the purpose of getting an honest contractor. Will never use her advice again and will definitely discontinue my membership.
Response from CRETEWORX LLC
"[Member Name], We provided an estimate we exceeded it by only 9%. You added over $1500 in change orders. We ran short of concrete and I told you I would need some help covering these extras and I asked you to call the concrete company and provide them with your credit card company (I used all of our allowance). Instead you wanted me to give them your credit card number which I did, then you decided to your card company and charge the concrete back as fraud? Yes, if you do not pay for your materials you will have a lien placed on your property by the ready mix supplier. I responded to you immediately via Angie's List member center - how can you dispute concrete that was delivered to your property? Prior to us pouring I asked that you inspect the concrete forms to make sure we covered all of our bases, unfortunately you claimed we missed an area of 24 sf that I offered to fix it after you paid us the $600 you owed Creteworx, $1500 to concrete supplier. I would gladly pay for the spare dumpster and crush crete you authorized after you settled up with these costs. I have responded with the other 2 consumer outlets in the same manner. I will not move on my decision until these folks and Creteworx are paid to a zero balance. When you called fraud on your credit card that displayed enough of your character so I only returned the same courtesy to you. I am not sure what your intentions are but your fraud charge against Grizwold is an untrue statement and I am willing to testify on their behalf. By the way the the concrete total cost from my pocket exceed the allowance."

This has been an absolute nightmare.  The job was completed on 1/20/14.  I paid Creteworx in full the next day, 1/21/14.  On 1/27/14 I received a Notice to Owner from his supplier stating that if the materials were not paid for that I could be held liable.  I assumed this was standard procedure and called the supplier.  They stated that his account had not yet been paid in full.  I contacted Chad and he assured me that he would take care of the invoice.  Approximately 1 month later I received a Notice of Lien from his supplier stating that a lien had been placed on my property.  I immediately contacted Chad and he stated it was all a misunderstanding and he would take care of it.
After consulting with my Attorney I went to the Courthouse and filed a Contest of Lien, as his supplier did not follow the Florida Statute 713.13 in serving the Notice to Owner.  Also, it is important to note that at no point in time did Chad ever bring up nor offer a Notice of Commencement (Statute 713..13) or a Release of Lien (Statute 713.20)  Of course, being an average homeowner I did not know any of these were necessary.  I was given only an estimate which I accepted, and an invoice which I paid in full.  I strongly advise any homeowners to familiarize themselves with Florida Statutes 713.001 - 713.37 and it 's subsections before hiring a contractor.
As of today, 4/2/14 this matter is still not resolved.  I have held off on this review to in the hopes it would be resolved.  At this point I have no faith that it will be without intervention by not only the supplier's attorney, but my own as well.

We had several pieces of our driveway broken.  It was what most would consider a small job and those are the ones that most providers don't want to be bothered with.  The workers were here when they said they would be.  They were polite and cleaned up when finished.  I also added an additional piece to be repaired and they made it happen without a hassle.

Poured 19x10 patio in place of builders grade patio stone work which I removed and cleaned area prior to slab. It rained after the pour and they came back to touch up. Some splatter was on the house which I will remove with a putty knife. I also believe they were going to cut in a stress line but it hasn't been done yet. I sent email but haven't heard. I also have a scout who is doing a Eagle project and gave the scout their information. Great team and do the work quickly

They were pretty good. They were prompt but they were busy. They fit me in when other companies couldn't. They accommodated me. They had the work done on a weekend just to get the job done so they were very prompt and professional about that. They were very good. There was no problem. For what I needed them to do, they did a very good job. They replied and I couldn't get anybody else to reply.

The repair went well, the company was responsive and delivered a good result.  The owner Chad is an experienced professional as were the other two workers on the job.  They scheduled the job within a couple of days after responding to my phone call which they answered on the weekend.  They got here and did a great job bringing my sidewalk up to the standards of the community hoa.  The price was very fair for the job.
I also discussed other jobs that I need done, driveway and some masonry repair on the home.  Chad offered some great solutions and has good ideas.  I would definitely recommend Creteworx for other jobs and I plan to use them when I'm ready to do those jobs.

Chad is very responsive to customer requests.  I had several estimates, but after reading the reviews on Angie's List, I chose him to do the work.  The job looks great and I have had other neighbors asking who did it .  The price was less than other estimates and the work done on time.

So far, so good.  The slab was prepared and and laid.  Looks great.  Waiting for concrete to fully cure before the acid stain goes on.  Looking forward to seeing the final product.
Chad is  very professional and listened and made recommendations on my needs and desires.  It took a few days and a couple rescheduled appointments to get the estimate.  But once a fair price was reached, was able to get the slab laid in less than a week.
I will update and finish the review once the project is complete.

Creteworx was responsive and contacted me back every time I called them. The estimate was lower than other 2 companies I contacted and the work was done according to schedule and on time. I rated them B (which is still GOOD) in punctuality since it seemed there were always other factors that delayed Chad or his team of about 90 minutes couple of times, but even if they were late few times they still committed to have the work done as agreed with me on the schedule presented. there were no issues on the quality of the work and the site needed some grading which was done without issues. they also cleaned everything up after completion and since there was some concrete leftover from the pouring I asked at that time without any warning to use it for an extra pad on the site of the slab. without hesitation they formed immediately the site and used the extra concrete as I instructed without charging any extra... I WAS IMPRESSED and I got an extra concrete pad for free.... There was a strong thunderstorm the afternoon of the pouring of the concrete which left the slab pitted. Although the weather was clearly not an issue that Chad (the owner) could control he still offered to fix the pad without additional charge the next day. Overall an excellent company to deal with if you need concrete work.

I dealt primarily with Chad, and he was very responsive and easy to work with. Their original quote was a bit higher than one from another company, but Chad agreed to match the lower price and he was more responsive on the schedule. They're based in Jacksonville and my house is in St. Augustine, 45 minutes away, but despite that they did a good job.
Overall, they did a great job and I would hire them again. The job did take a bit longer than I expected, but it was quite a big job so that wasn't unexpected. The crew who actually did the concrete worked their butts off all day in the hot sun, and I was impressed with their work ethic. Creteworks did a good job and I would definitely hire them again.
