I have been working with Jose as a supplier of LED Lighting for him for about 2 years now.  He is always polite, professional, and pays on time (usually pays much earlier than necessary).  I would not hesitate to use Jose for electrical services based on the above traits.  Very ethical electrician and business owner.

I bought a foreclosure & got a recommendation to call Jose Cortes of Cortes Electric Inc. Mr. Cortes & I agreed on an appointment time & he showed up when he promised. It is very difficult to find a company in the construction industry that shows up on time! He did such a great job I had him come back to my house a second time for additional work I wanted. There was a lot of upgrading to do in my house since it was a foreclosure. Mr. Cortes took on the challenge & even recommended new ideas. I recommend him to all my friends & family. Excellent job!

I can not say enough nice things about Cortes Electric. During the estimate, they explained everything in great detail, and advised us on different routes we could take to get what we wanted done. They were polite, courteous and fair priced. We definitely plan to use them again in the future.

Overall the project went well (but there were minor hiccups) - the breaker box and surge protector appear to be working well. But, one of the breakers they installed was faulty and had to be replaced. He responded quickly to that fix. He also came out to finish patching the wall. The biggest complaint I have was with scheduling - he was often late and we had to reschedule. But he's knowledgeable, pleasant and easygoing - and he did a good job, so I'd use him again.
