 + 0 moreI do not understand why are landscapers the hardest to get business with? This is the third company that I have reached out to for landscape and outdoor design. They returned my call just to get my details and told me a designer would get back to me after a few days. 1 1/2 month later I am still waiting. I will not chase people down to give them my business!

 + 0 moreIt took a long time to get the work done (several months). Staff was very unresponsive and any commitments could not be counted on. Since I'm not a professional when it come to patio screened room construction, it took a few weeks before problems were noted. When I reached out to Core, they were unresponsive and never came out to address my concerns.
Description of Work: Core tore out old screened patio and installed new screened patio.

 + 0 moreIn retrospect, the initial mistake entailed not addressing the budget. This was not encouraged by the owner though we did discuss we may not stay in this home and we didn't want to "break the bank." In addition, we had considered a pool though did not want to spend the 20 K plus to install one. We had discussed installation of a 400-500 foot outside contemporary deck comprised of travertine with a water feature. After approximately 3 to 4 weeks of sending pictures, discussing plans, and materials used, an email was forwarded to me and the estimate of $27,000 forwarded. I was completely shocked. Fast forward five months and we have beautiful deck and nicely landscaped for 8K

Description of Work: I called them to build sun room on existing patio. He provided an estimate. When I asked for Angies List discount, he replied that it is his decision whether he can provide the coupon discount or not. That's a ridiculous thing I ever heard in my life time. He should not advertise the discount on Angies list website and magazine if he can't honor it. Also, flood light is mandatory to provide by law so without even asking he should have included in the estimate but when I pointed out, he was asking additional charges. See below what he has responded. Mr. Rastogi, I spoke in length with my sales Supervisor Keith that you met last time I came and also Paul the owner which I am copying on email. We received your information from HomeAdvisor which is separate source than Angies List. Also the discount on Angies is discretionary to the contractor and on our Sunrooms and Screenrooms this offer doesn't apply. We price our rooms competitively and don't offer promotional discounts. I gave you a full electrical quote seperate of this estimate. The GFI I will do as a courtesy. The outside light will be $220 and there will be a labor charge of $300 to tie in to your existing service. This is the best we can do as a company. Feel free to contact Paul the owner or Keith if you feel the need. Thanks and look forward to your response.

 + 3 moreWent extremely well. Everyone who worked on the project was friendly, did a good job/were craftsmen, and completed each phase of the work within the scheduled timeframe. Nothing was done without my approval first. Would definitely recommend them to everyone.
Description of Work: Designed and constructed a pavered porch with a pergola-type roof in the backyard. Also took care of modifications needed to the sprinkler system and installing of electricity and outlets to the structure and hanging a ceiling fan.
