No work was done. I initially contacted Ed because of his company’s positive reviews on Angie’s List. I believe he canceled coming to our house because other customers had bigger larger jobs. That is my opinion because Ed told me that everyone was calling him at the same time. I don’t know how well he works, but from my perspective his customer service is sorely lacking.

Ed was great. He worked with us to determine the hardware needed to deliver the effect we wanted. Even though it required equipment that he hadn't used before, he was easily able to adapt. Ed is a real nice guy and a true electrician.

We've used Conte Electric for several years to do repairs and upgrades. The service is professional, i.e., reliable, responsive, and the job gets done right.

I called the electrician the same day as services were provided. Edward was able to resolve my problem the same day. He communicated his concerns with my issue, as well as gave me alternative methods. The goal was to remove an intercom system in the kitchen by cutting the power to the unit, in order to install new cabinets. Edward did not only completed the job, he also looked at the outlet in my room and check the electricity in the socket and the extension cord, that was housing the television cords. He was prompt, professional and we will definitely do business with him again.

The power company would not turn on the power at this newly acquired rental property due to a "hold" from the city. Assuming there must have been an electrical problem that a code inspector saw I hired Conte Electric. Mr. Conte inspected the electrical at the property. He saw no major issues and then went above and beyond and went to City Hall to try to find out what the hold was about. Because Ed was not the owner of the house they would not share much information with him. I really appreciate his effort though. It turned out the hold was due to an old unpaid code violation related to a dilapidated shed in the backyard that no longer exists. I paid the fees, the city released the hold and JEA then turned the power on for me. I would not hesitate to use this contractor again.

He did a fantastic job installing 2 ceiling fans..This is the second time we have used him and will be using him for any of our electric needs in the future. he is reasonably priced and always on time. He also made many good suggestions that I would not have thought of. Highly recommended.

Mr. Conte did a great job. He was punctual and very professional. We had a few calls back and forth before the day of installation to make sure we were on the right page. Extremely happy with the work. Will reach out to him again in the future if required.

Mr. Conte was very professional. He gave me some good ideas about which lights to use and the best placement for them. He had to work around a drywall installer because of scheduling problems but he did it willingly and got our job done in one day. We are very satisfied with the look and function of the new lights.

Mr. Conte was an absolute blessing to work with. He started with a very thorough quote that was very reasonable in price, especially for the quality of work that he provided. On the day of the work he showed up and was extremely friendly and professional while working. It was obvious that he payed attention to every detail of the job including properly protecting our home prior to his work with drop cloths and plastic. He installed 4 recessed lights in the kitchen with a dimmer. He also installed 6 recessed lights in the living room and 2 in our master bathroom. I honestly couldn't give a high enough recommendation for Mr Conte and plan on using him again as we continue improvements on our home.

He arrived on time, got to work and did an excellent job. There was a part missing and he went with me to Lowes to make sure I got the right piece. I recommend him completely for his honesty and value. I will use his service again.

We were doing a kitchen remodel with family helping and ran into some problems with the electric work. We also needed some other electric work done, so bought a certificate for a fan replacement to try out Conte Electric services. We had a good experience and were able to get several other projects done during the same trip. We bought the Angies list Fan replacement certificate and were contacted within 48 hours. We described the jobs and Ed Conte scheduled us for a day. He ended up being on our job for two days since there were a number of projects. He is knowledgeable and provided good advice for our project and situation. We have had our current house in Jacksonville for a year - it was built in the 1980's - and have tried two other electrical contractors previously in Jacksonville. We will end our search now. Ed Conte is exactly the type of electrician we were hoping for....experienced and thoughtful. He does what he says he will do and shows up on time. We are very happy to have found him and would recommend his electrical services to others.
