Mr. Hartman has attended to my clock on two occasions, both times because it had stopped and I could not get it re-started. Fortunately, the repairs were minor and my clock is again tolling a joyful sound in my home. Mr. Hartman was most pleasant during his work and explained the clock's issues. He has agreed to perform general maintenance annually.

I am highly recommended Jim of The Clockworks for any work needed on clocks. I have been looking for someone to service my mothers grandfather clock for some time when I ran across Jim. He was able to adjust, clean and balance the clock in a very timely and professional manner. He was even able to squeeze us in on a busy day for him, but it was more special for us because it was mom's 83rd birthday and all she wanted was her clock working. Thank you Jim for your outstanding service! Mom is thrilled to hear her clock chiming again! You are the best!!

I was very excited to have him arrange to come to my home as quickly as he did. I was equally thrilled to receive a very fair bill. The service technician was very professional and respectful. In an era where customer service leaves a lot to be desired, I can truly say “well done”

Mr. Farr was prompt, professional and thorough. He definitely knows his clocks and did a fast, accurate appraisal of the problem. He fixed the clock with no problem and it has worked correctly ever since. This clock was given to me by my late father and it meant alot to me for it to work. I would definitely hire Mr. Farr again for any clockwork that I need done.

Very evident that Joe is an extremely experienced person and knows clocks. very impressed with his knowledge and quick turn around time. He made a house call and was very focused.

The owner is a very nice man. He was prompt in his arrival and professional mannerisms

work was done, clock works great, price was good. We would have given this clock repair shop an "A" rating, but owner had a medical issue and the store was closed with no notice on the door. We left a note for the owner. He called us back, and the clock was repaired in a timely mannor once we made contact.

Joe had to take the mechanism apart and get the weights to work again.  I have no idea what he actually did but each time  the clock worked just fine.

Took the time to make sure the clock stayed in motion, and made an honest effort to keep cost down. We joked about liquor and how he wasn't as crabby as he used to be. Excellent work done by a seasoned and considerate professional.

Joe knows clocks and had mine up and running in no time. Note, he runs early for his appointments, enough so that I was indisposed and didn't hear the doorbell for the first appointment. He thought I wasn't home and left before our scheduled time. We rescheduled and second appointment was a breeze. I can not discuss the cost of his services because the moving company paid the bill for the repairs and I do not know how much the repair was. No hesitation referring his services.
