Clear Impressions Solar & Security Films

Christy is great.At first the work looked fantastic. I stated seeing bits of bugs or debris in bubbles. Someone came out to look at this. Very, very unsatified with answer. The windows have to be perfectly clean to apply the film per the installer.. I was told this was not possible...seriously??? In this day and age you cannot get windows perfectly clean? disappointed. If you have large windows, beware.

Our has is an almost 100 year old house.  Most of our windows are vintage glass: beautiful but will likely shatter on impact.  We investigated alternative solutions but storm shutters were prohibitively expensive for our needs.  Installing poly carbonate panels would have been somewhat less prohibitively expensive, but this type of protection required a commitment to install and uninstall, which we did not want to make.  All in all, we concluded that security films provided the best package of reasonable protection (this area is just borderline hurricane prone, not likely prone) against storms, could be installed and let alone, which would then provided you year-around protection against solar (heat and/or UV) and security (break and grab) exposure as well. 

Clear Impressions was very diligent in responding to our request for a quote, reasonable in pricing, prompt in scheduling, and punctual in delivering.  The installers were extremely professional and courteous.  They spend almost three days managing the process of cleaning the glass, cutting the films to perfect fit (handling both french panes and large panes), and establishing a seamless and invisible bond between the glass and the film.  This is definitely a process that takes patience and expertise.  After one week of installation, most of the few visible "bubbles" that one expects initially have disappeared, even though final curing, etc. takes a few weeks to finalize.  In any event, both material and installation come with reliable warranties.

We would recommend this product to anyone who wants to insure against the worse outcomes of wind born glass damage and who wants to keep old vintage glass instead of migrating to modern glass.

Michael came out to our house on time and removed the old film and reinstalled the new film without a problem.  He was very efficient, there was no trash or mess left behind, and completed the job in a day and a half.  We also had the garage door windows and a transom window that were not previously done, hence the small amount I paid for this installation.  My wife and I would highly recommend Clear Impressions if you are in the market for any type of solar or security film as all of our dealings with everyone within the whole company has been first class and very pleasurable.  Shawn & Christie will treat you right.

We had a great experience with this company.  Appointment was made easily.  Chase explain all of our options clearly.  They completed the job in 1 1/2 hours just said and my car looks great!  We can already tell the difference with the heat reduction in the car.  We are planning to have them tint a few windows in our house.

We were in and out in about 35 minutes and couldn't be happier. I made an appointment to have the Huper Optik ceramic tint applied and after conferring with Sean for about 5 minutes we opted for their extreme line instead. The color match was closer to the factory tint and was less expensive. a positive experience and I will definitely go back.

After first install, 2 of the windows were misaligned.  The owner was very responsive and made things right on second visit.

Took my car to have the windows tinted. Specifically chose them because they offered Huper Optik ceramic window tinting. Discussed extensively on the phone that I wanted Huper and wanted to have side, front, and back window covered. Set appointment. When I got there and again went over what I wanted, it turns out they could not use Huper on the front and back, only on the sides. I was already there for the appointment. If I had been told when scheduling about not using Huper on the front and back, I may have chosen to do something differently....but I am pretty sure that's why they didn't mention that Huper wouldn't be used. So, if you are specifically looking for a certain film to be installed by these guys, make sure you specifically confirm in advance that they can and will do what you are looking for. Now I'll probably have to go somewhere else to get the front re-done in 3M ceramic. I just wish I had been told when scheduling exactly what they were going to do.

Salesman was prompt and on time. Very up beat and energetic with a great attitude. One of the most likable representatives and friendly. Very impressed with his knowledge and helping steering me through the process. I probably will use this company and he helped verify I was available for a $30.00 instant rebate by J.E.A. For each qualifying window.

I liked that they were fast and did an orderly job.  It was all done in the same day.  I called them, they came and did the job.  I didn’t have anything to compare their price to.

I asked for the Huper Optik ceramic 30 to be installed on my car.  They installed the non-ceramic film and to top it off they installed 35%, and not 30% as I specifically asked.
They wrote down a few excuses to the sticky notes they attached to my receipt.
They claimed the ceramic version of Huper Optik's film causes ghosting on "curvy" glass, and that it was a good thing they accidentally installed the wrong film.
I won't be going here again.

They tinted all the windows on my new car, a small SUV. I have used them in the past for my home windows so they were a natural choice because I was extremely happy with the work they performed at my home. They do excellent work and their prices can't be beat. They use Huber Optik window film, the best on the market! I called on a Thursday, spoke with Christie. She said they had an opening at 12:00 on Saturday. I showed up about 11:50 and my car had beautiful tinted windows by 1:00. No more hot interior in my car! I love this company! I would recommend them to anyone needing their home or car windows tinted!!

I can't say enough about the great experience working with this company from the first cotact to the actual installation.  I have been remoldeling my home for over a year, and for the most part, it has not gone well.  I contacted three companies that advertise window tinting.  One company never showed up for the appointment, one said they would get back to me to set up an appointment and did not, and Clear impressions set an appointment during the initial call.  The sales rep was punctual, informative, made suggestions, and gave me an estimate, and an installation date, during this appointment.  One day later, they called and said they had an opening and offered to move the installation date up a week earlier.  The installers were on time, came prepared, and worked effeciently.  I am very happy with the finished product and I could see and feel the difference it made, immediately.
