We bought a 'depressed' property to either flip or rent.  But needed to update the 20 year old popcorn ceilings.  Mike and his team removed the popcorn ceilings and did a terrific job!.  It was a 3 day process, 1st prepping the property with plastic to cover walls, windows, light fixtures, etc.  The 2nd day was the bulk of the removal.  The 3rd day he finished up with our new 'knock down' finish.  He was prompt, easy to work with, and did a terrific job.

I received the estimate and it was so much higher than any of the others that I had received. The other estimates that I had received had been more around $500 and $525. This was a small 8ft high by 12ft long wall with a door in the middle. And the drywall was already hung, it just needed the tape and mud. It should be noted that he had to reschedule on me three separate times.

They did an excellent job both times. It really changed the look of both homes. Both homes were empty at the time and they knocked them out very quickly. My neighbor, who is a real estate agent, has also used them for client's homes that needed updated for sale. I would gladly use them again.

We made the mistake of using a contractor (brother of neighbor) without fully investigating the work that was to be done and how they would do it. Something we will not do again.
They were contracted to remove the popcorn ceiling and then to add a knockdown ceiling texture. The popcorn came down without an issue but the contractor simply did not have the proper tools to apply a typical knockdown ceiling texture. After they had go through and did the ceiling with basic hopper, I realized I couldnt live with it and had to find a resolution and that resolution was Mike Ashe and Ceilings, Drywall and More. Mike came out when we called him halfway through the job, and was out that morning and reviewed the other contractors work and told me he could fix it. He let me know it wouldn't be as perfect as if they did it from scratch but would be much better. They were done within a couple days and had saved the project.
Like he said, it could have been better, but with what they had to work with an skimming over the existing contractor's work they did an AWESOME job.

Made a phone call to Mike before lunch, he had a opening in his schedule right away due to a recent opening in his schedule. He and his crew were able to swing by my house within the hour and start work right away on my issue. Within an hour later my ceiling is back to normal and looks great. He mentioned that his crew also does exterior painting and pressure washing, so I will be sure to inquire about those services later in the year when we are ready.

It was excellent. They were perfect, great, and accommodating. They really wanted to please us and it was quite obvious. They were always on time. They made sure they got the job done right before they left. They even stayed an extra period of time to make sure everything was right.

It was pretty good, it could have been a little better though.

Mike was pleasant, always on time and cleaned up afterwards. His prices were reasonable and we are very pleased with his work. I would hire him again without any hesitation.

No issues. The job was finished in the time promised.

I needed a company to remove popcorn from ceilings and replace with knockdown. Mike Ashe with Ceilings Drywall and More provided a very competitive estimate (I had gotten two other estimates) which I accepted. He worked around my schedule and my family's need to be at home, setting up and removing popcorn from half my home's ceilings one week, and then coming back the next and doing the other half. This involved setting up and cleaning up twice but Mike did it without complaint. It is a nasty process, and I feel he did a good job taping off the walls, protecting my furniture and floors, and touching up areas of wall where it was needed. I did have 'touch up' paint for every room on hand. He had some trouble with an employee not showing up, but he made sure the job got done himself when he said it would be done.
The quality of his work with framing out a section over my fireplace and drywalling it, including finish paint was excellent. There were several other holes that needed to be patched and Mike took care of all of them.
The paint job he did for me in one of the rooms was fast and efficient and care was taken to protect my furniture and floors.
We are very happy with this company.
