Bug Hound Pest Control

I have been using Bug Hound for my pest control ever since Joe (the owner) did the WDO inspection for my house purchase in 2005. I was impressed by his knowledge, friendliness and thoroughness. He comes out once a year to treat my house. If I ever see bugs after treatment (only twice in 9 years!) he comes back to resolve the issue right away. Joe is very flexible in his hours and works with my schedule. I highly recommend Joe and his company.

We had a horrible flea problem at a rental property and were worried that if this wasn't handled quickly and thoroughly we would lose a well qualified tenant. The owner of the property doesn't live in the area and didn't know who to call. I am their real estate agent and I recommended Bug Hound. Joe spoke to the owner on the phone and explained what he was going to do and the cost and really put the owner's mind at ease that the problem would be solved. Joe came out and did 2 treatments scheduled 2 weeks apart to ensure that even the eggs were killed. Joe was professional, courteous, arrived on time for both appointments. As always, he was punctual and professional. He also has the best prices around, probably because he works alone. In this case, he did a WDO (wood destroying organism report) basically a termite inspection. However, I have used him to treat termite infestation, provide a termite bond, do monthly flea treatments (we have dogs who are allergic to fleas) and get rid of rats (common in Riverside alleys.) He is terrific and goes overboard to help. He has returned -- at no charge -- when the little varmints were uncooperative about leaving the first time. He is very knowledgeable and even connected me with an Environmental Specialist from the Florida Bureau of Entolomology and Pest Control when I had a question. This is a field rife with abuse, overcharging, and incompetence. It is a relief knowing that I am working with a good guy, and that I will always get the same guy back, not someone new.
