This particular situation occurred during some staff changes and our estimator needing to take medical leave. Your paperwork was filed and not set to reschedule by mistake. The owner has since filled in for the estimator so we can try to avoid this same situation occurring again. "We do apologize for the inconvenience. Our estimator is usually very prompt to call if running behind or ahead of schedule. We are prompt on most occasions but do realize there may be occasional delays in arriving on time. When we schedule an estimate appointment, we originally do so in a 2-3 hour time frame window. We do reach out to our potential customers to reconfirm the appointment the day prior as a friendly reminder and narrow the approximate arrival time to an hour window as well. I researched the estimate appointments and do see where the original estimate was scheduled on 8/15 and rescheduled for 8/20. The estimate for 8/20 was cancelled upon the estimator calling with updated arrival time. Again, I sincerely apologize he was running behind schedule and we were not able to provide a proposal for your project needs. If you are still in the market for a fence, we would love an opportunity to show you the Best side of Best Fence. Thank you"

"Best Fence did schedule an estimate appointment to assess the situation and exactly what was damaged or needing repair. Our policy is not to repair or install a project until our potential customers have a proposal in hand and agree to the service charges. I do apologize a proposal wasn't sent promptly on Monday, however after further research, our estimator was getting prices on parts to repair the panel that was damaged. When our office was contacted that week regarding the proposal and we did not have one on file, we promptly called the estimator to determine the proposal status. A return call may not have been placed to you until the following day as we want to provide accurate information and our office was waiting for a return call from the estimator, whom was on an appointment at the time of contact. At that time our office was instructed not to proceed with providing a proposal for repair. The summer season is our busiest time of year and the estimate appointments can be booked up to a week or two in advance. I do sincerely apologize for the delay in returning a proposal to you. There are circumstances when pricing for parts is needed and we are at the mercy of a supplier. The estimator gathers photos and as much additional information as possible to provide an accurate proposal as we try not to deviate from estimated costs. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and that we were unable to service your needs."
