Beautiful Blooms Landscaping

Beautiful Blooms did a beautiful job giving our backyard and landscaping a much-needed makeover. Our property is 22 years old, and the previous patio was still the tiny concrete slab the builders originally put in. Most of the landscaping was original to the house's build. Not anymore! Beautiful Blooms, with Brian leading design creation, Kevin serving as foreman, lots of very hard-working and courteous workers, and Dan overseeing it all, did a gorgeous job putting in a new large hardscape and new landscaping and sod on all sides of the house. Now we have a pergola, seating wall, and multiple delightful landscaping beds filled with flowers to attract the butterflies and bees, as was my goal. They spruced up the edge of the woods and helped us morph nature into our new nurtured space. From start to finish they were polite and professional, accommodating with change requests and additions (the project grew as it went, not because of them but because of me). They completed such a large job in a very time efficient manner - two weeks. They left nothing undone and completed the job to my total satisfaction. No longer will I feel trapped on a tiny concrete slab; instead I have this resort-worthy backyard retreat to enjoy. Thank you, Beautiful Blooms, you definitely lived up to my (high) expectations!

The owner was very nice and very confident with his system we would not have anymore issues. We hired and the work was done. A few months later our yard was flooding, and the owner sent out more workers to add additional drains (for additional money). When Irma came, we were flooding before the hurricane was anywhere near us. We had more damage due to flooding this year with his system in place than last year.

They were a little slow to respond, but once we connected, things progressed well. They do excellent work but are pricey.

Dan came out to give me an estimate to landscape a small area in the backyard and noticed the drainage problem immediately. I didn't even know he did that type of work. I told him the look I was going for and the plants I had tried there unsuccessfully before and he designed the landscape plan. On the day of installation, Shane and Scott came to do the work, which involved trenching and laying drainage pipe, as well as removing unwanted plants and planting the new ones and then mulching the area. Dan came by mid-way through to ensure all was going to plan. The guys did a great job, were professional, thorough, happy to accommodate my small requests, and cleaned up the area nicely. I will be calling Dan again in the near future to solve a few other drainage issues I have.

first visit excellent. Afterwards, different people sent, and their work was shoddy- missed patches in yard, used weedeater indiscriminately, cutting down ornamental flowering bushes and vines trained to a trellis. They replaced plants,if we requested it, but this was common. They removed mature herbs along with weeds in herb garden. We stopped service due to job changes. when we attempted to re-start, was told that our business was too troublesome, and that they would charge us extra. We always on time- clearly our account was not lucrative enough for us to be treated respectfully. (we paid $150/month for weekly cut during summer and biweekly/monthly for winter the contract that they suggested.) When we spoke with the young men sent to do work, they were dismissive. maintenance trims of hedges was extra cost.

Honestly, I am very happy with their work. I had contact with most of their workers during this lengthy project, and found them to be very professional and easy to work with. I knew that the price was high but this was the only company that was willing to do all the work that I wanted done. From the owner, salesman, crew chiefs and crew - all were very good, especially when I noticed something that needed to be done again or better. Never heard a complaint just "it's your house and you can have it the way you want it". I only gave them a B rating due entirely to one of their subcontractors, who did a poor job laying the sod. The sod was not snugged up against each other the way I would have thought it should have been, leaving as much as 4-6 inch gaps between some pieces of sod. Frequently the sod layers broke off large pieces of the corners of each piece of sod and just threw it down. All together, if I had contracted them, I wouldn't be paying them until they did it right. Steve, Beautiful Blooms assures me that the sod will knit together and fill those gaps, hopefully he's right. Also the subcontractor was somewhat inappropriate in their contact with me, which has been addressed with Dan.

We purchased an estimate off of Angie's List through their email offers and received a prompt call-back to schedule the appointment. Brian came out and took measurements and photos of the areas we wanted improved and said he would get back to us with a proposal. The proposal took a little longer than we had expected but it was worth the wait. He hit the nail on the head with his plant recommendations based on what we told him we were going for. A couple of weeks later the plants were delivered and a great 4 man team, led by "Chief Gary" showed up to get the job done. They were extremely professional and hard working. We had about 8 twenty (or thirty) year-old bushes with deep roots that needed to be dug up. Still and all the whole job of removal and re-planting only took the team 2 days to complete! They also rerouted our existing sprinkler system to accommodate the new plants. They did a great job!

Dan from Beautiful Blooms contacted me shortly after I paid for the design package and we set up a time to walk through the backyard. After he and a photographer came by the house to shoot some pictures, I received my new plan. It has been very helpful as I plan out my next steps in my yard.

Mama fer has Ben out repeatedly assuring the guys will be given time to do the regular maintenance as recently as yesterday Today it was the usual mow, blow and go. No weeding, cutting of dead fronds, trimming of overgrown bushes, etc. and they are the most expensive of any we interviewed. Bad management.

It went well. He came out and he was very professional. He did a good job but we didn't end up using him. The price he gave us was really high. I wanted him to break down the quote. He ended up giving us one big quote. It was $16000. There was a little bit of a communication issue. Every time I called, I had to wait for somebody to call me back. They didn't get in touch with me right away. The price of coming out and looking was a good value. The design plan was a good price for that.

Dan was great and responsive!  The service was provided as purchased, and the detailed drawings are sufficient for me to break the project down into manageable pieces.
