I LOVE this animal clinic. I have always had pets from horses to the very smallest of critters. And I have lived many places. I have had every experience imaginable from very good to very bad with vets. I LOVE Dr. Cromer and his staff. This is a GREAT veterinary practice. You can feel relief and confidence if you bring your pet here. And the bonus.... reasonable, affordable prices. They are just the bomb. I will be a long time client.

Billy is back to his old, healthy self. My pets have been patients of Dr. Cromer for almost 20 years. He and his office manager/vet tech, Donna, are an amazing team. They always go above and beyond to help me with my pets. When I lose one, they grieve with me, and when one regains his health, they celebrate with me. I've had pets for 60 years and have been to many vets, but Dr. Cromer is the best of the best.

The wait time is usually under 5 minutes. The vet interacts with the pet very well. Between my wife and I, we have been going there for 25 plus years for pets. They are very knowledgeable, very pet oriented and they will work with you for whatever condition or issues that you might have.

I have been going to see Dr. Cromer since I moved to Jacksonville in 1997. He is so kind and truly loves his work! I cant imagine going any where else with my babies. Donna in the office is a miracle worker and shares all of her animal knowledge. This team goes out of their way to make sure you and your animals are comfortable and happy. I LOVE Baywood Animal Hospital!!!

Dr. Cromer is attentive and punctual. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my scheduled appointment time. He always gives one and one attention to his clients and their animals. The prices are always reasonable - I've compared my vaccination costs to First Coast No More Homeless Pets and the prices are almost the same.

A neighbor recently abandoned a cat and after watching it get chased around the neighborhood by dogs, I decided to find a vet and have it checked out. Although there weren't many reviews under the and quot;Veterinariansand quot; category, Baywood Animal Hospital had a positive one and it was relatively close.
I initially spoke with Donna and explained to her the situation and because of being so close, she offered to let me use a pet carrier to get the cat back and forth- very cool! I made an appointment and brought the little guy in this morning. The cat also had a severe itching/scratching situation and wanted that taken care of most importantly. Dr. Cromer and his staff were all wonderful and provided a quiet, clean environment - you can definitely tell when people enjoy their job and love animals, as they certainly do.
Dr. Cromer's pricing seems fair and he generously gave me a discount on the medication, given the circumstances. Overall it was a great experience - he and his staff will take care of your little furry friend, just like it was their own.

When I realized that the dog I had just taken to foster appeared to be getting ill, I called and spoke with Donna, a very caring, knowledgable office manager/vet tech at Baywood Animal Hospital. We made an appointment for me to take the dog to Baywood Animal Hospital, and I was told to remain with my dog in the car until I was called. Donna told me that the dog was probably contagious and wanted to avoid infecting other dogs. This helped me to keep the dog comfortable as well as protecting other people's pets. Since the doctor always sees the his patients on time, my wait was very short. Dr. Cromer carefully examined the dog. Although it had been seen by two vets before I took possession of the dog, and it had be given a relatively clean bill of health, Dr. Cromer quickly noted that the dog had the beginning signs of kennel cough, ear infections, several broken teeth, and intestinal parasites. At that point, Dr. Cromer suggested some basic blood tests to detect additional problems. (He did not suggest extensive tests at that time since I was fostering the dog and Dr. Cromber wanted to avoid additional, more expensive tests. I've always appreciated that he strives to keep his prices as affordable as possible.) Dr. Cromer informed me that he would get the results of the blood tests the following day. I went home with medicine for the ears and intestinal parrisites, as well as a wealth of new information. (When I left, I was given a printed paper which explained the problems that were found. It is always good to be able to refer back to the printed explanation.)

The next day, during his lunch break, Dr. Cromer called to explain the results of the blood tests. Unfortunately, as he suspected, the little dog also has heart worms. Dr. Cromer explained the method he preferred to treat the dog. He believed the method he chose was not only better for the dog, but it was also much less expensive for me.

My pets have been patients of Dr. Cromer's for almost 13 years, and I wouldn't trade him for any other vet in town. Dr., Cromer is always kind to my pets and to me. He is a knowledgable and experienced vet. He never rushes, and he is happy to answer any questions that I have. On several occasions, one of my pets became ill at closing time. I've called, described the symptoms and, to my relief, Dr. Cromer and Donna have waited for me and checked my sick pet.

As for Donna, she is simply amazing. She opens the office every morning at 7:00, so we can drop off our pets or purchase meds. In addition, I've called Donna many times, early in the morning, asking her for advice for one of my cats or the dog. She is so kind and understanding, and she truly understands and loves animals. She has celebrated with me when my pets recovered, and she's cried with me when one has passed. Thank goodness for Dr. Cromer and Donna. I don't know what we'd do without our friends at Baywood Animal Hospital.

I had a good experience at Baywood Animal Clinic. They do a great job with the animals, and I feel like they take really good care of my dogs. I'd recommend them to other pet owners.
