This company performed a refinishing of a tub on 3/22/2022 for my elderly parents. They offered a one-year warranty and were contacted by my mother by phone and email within that one-year period with some of the attached pictures. Despite claiming they called my parents, they have been unable to provide any proof of attempts to contact. Rather, I have email documentation that shows my mother called the company on March 6, 2023, emailed the company March 7, 2023, and again on November 28, 2023,until she finally received an email from Kellie Valle on November 29, 2023, with an estimate for $297 to repair the shoddy work. This was and is a warrantable issue. The Company did not respond to my parents until the one-year warranty period expired and is now trying to collect money to fix a problem they created. All I am asking on behalf of my parents is for the company to repair their defective work under the warranty they provided and they have refused.

I would not recommend this company to do any job. They glazed a bathtub for me and a few years after the job, the tub began to peel. They came out and repaired it, however it began to peel in another area. After they came out to repair that problem, they refused to do any additional repairs on the tub. This company doesn't stand behind their product and maybe their product is not a quality product.

Bath Tub Man returned our initial call, later confirmed the appointment, called just before he arrived, explained his plan, left informative paperwork including a guarantee, and was totally pleasant to have in the house. The bath tub looks better than when the builder put it in. We have two tubs in the house and this one tub was never right until now.

I had the bath tub refinished in the beginning of March. I immediately noticed it didn't turn out well, and I called the office to let them know. I was told to call back on Monday after it had dried. I called back on Monday and they offered to redo it in about three weeks! I had them return a few weeks later and was told they were going to refinish the entire tub again. It again turned out terrible, and worse than the first time. I called them and told them I wanted my mkney refunded, and the refused at first and then said if they removed the finish they would refund the money. I had another company scheduled to refinish the tub, and didn't want to be left with an unusable tub/shower. I explained that to them and they still wouldn't refind my money. I had to call my credit card money and dispute the charge, and then they were willing to refund the money.

It was very easy to schedule the appointment and the woman who took my call was courteous.
The team painted two older tubs white. They began in the morning and were finished soon after noon.
Please note that I wrote that the tubs were painted, not refinished.  I have had tubs refinished before and they have looked like brand new porcelain, so I know this can be done -- and was done 25 years ago. However, the difference in the quality of the work then, by a company whose owner retired, and this job was shocking.
Besides having a tub refinished, I have also had furniture refinished. Refinished furniture looks new, with a smooth finish.  I have also had furniture painted.  Painted furniture looks much less smooth.   My tubs now look as if they were painted -- covered with a thick layer of material, with rough spots like orange peel in many places.  In no way do they resemble porcelain.  In two bathrooms with porcelain tile, they are a visual horror.
The tubs also are unpleasant to touch. They have a "clammy'' feel, not the slick smoothness one expects of a bath tub.

Furthermore, the instructions left for care of the new surface stipulated no use of bath mats.  Since I am older and have some problems with balance, I am uneasy standing in a tub with no mat.  No mention was made of this restriction on their site of when I spoke with the secretary.  My previous refinishing job had no restrictions on use of anything on or in the tubs, so I did no know to ask.
This was a huge disappointment to me after spending several years renovating an older home that now looks very nice, with the exception of the eyesores in the baths.  I'm thankful I didn't have the guest bath "refinished"!
But if you like the look and feel of painted furniture or bath tubs -- and don't need a mat -- this is the company for you.
I should also add that I did not contact this company about my disappointment, because I have learned during this lengthy renovation process  that if someone can't do a job right  the first time, they are not going to do it differently a second time -- if they are even willing to try.

UPDATE:  I am changing my original rating of "D" to "F".   I have not used the tubs yet, since I have not moved in.  However, I did soak a Rubbermaid bin with a smooth, rounded bottom  in it -- nothing sharp at all -- and the paint has peeled off in a 2"x1" area.  If it can't handle a smooth plastic bin, I am not looking forward to what will happen if I drop a bottle of shampoo or conditioner.
Perhaps the management of the company has changed since the earlier positive reviews were posted.  At any rate, I want to warn other Angie's List members about this company and its product.

I had them glaze my old beige roman tub. Initially everything appeared to go well. THe lady working in the office was very nice and accommodating. They came out to provide an estimate and my mother met them for me. The man stated they could also reglaze my tiles, but my mother explained that I was having the tiles replaced and only needed the tub done. Here is where I should have noticed the first red flag, because they sent me an estimate for reglazing the tub and tiles. I called and told them I only needed the tub done and they said no problem. I then changed my mind about the color and called about 1 or 2 days before they were scheduled for the job and the lady on the phone was very nice and said it would not be a problem, but a custom color would delay the project while they had the color mixed, which I understood. She was so nice that she even stopped by my house to pick up the paint sample for the color. They arrived on the new scheduled date and completed the tub, but were unable to do the caulking (I had a coupon from Angie's list for free caulking) due to the paint needing to dry and the worker said he was too short to reach across and do it without damaging the paint (to me the color was a perfect match for what I requested, but the paint appeared thin, there was a large strip going up my tile where they taped it off, and there were small bumps like they had painted in dirt or something). They said they would return to complete it. They did come back and do the caulking and here is where all of the horrible issues began! The guy did do the caulking and when I came home from work and looked at it, it looked like it was done by someone who had never caulked in their life as it was thick, rough, uneven, and just completely poorly done. I called and they did agree to send someone out to correct the issue. He arrived as scheduled and my mother met them again for me. He completed the job and told her it was finished and left. When I returned home, I was horrified! Not only did he scrape the bad caulk off, but he scraped the glaze off the tub, but he did recaulk even though the beige was visible all over the tub where he scraped it. A professional person, once realizing the color had been scraped off, would have simply told us that they would have to respray before caulking. Instead, he tried to pass it off as being corrected!!! Of course, I called them back again and the woman was very nice and said she would send someone else out. I told them to forget the caulk because it still wasn't done well and I just wanted the tub done. They did return and remove the caulk and resprayed the tub. I was thinking this time it would be completed right...wrong! They scratched the brand new drain insert, there is overspray on my brand new tile, and you can see where there was a run on the front and they took their hand and wiped it attempting to smooth it. I called again and just stated that there was overspry on my tile and mentioned the smudged run. The woman seems to have lost some of her patience with me at this point. She wasn't hateful or anything, but you could hear it in her voice. She said just wipe it off with a scrub pad. Remember this is brand new porcelain tile! I explained I didn't want to scratch the tile, so she said it will come right off with a little cleaner. I explained that I had already tried that and it didn't work. Oh and I forgot that the last time they resprayed they removed the screen out of my second story window and didn't even attempt to replace it. Back to the overspray. She then said to call back when I was ready (this was right before Christmas now) and they would come clean it. She didn't have a response about the smudge where they tried to smooth the run. At this point, I give up. This has been going on for a month and I am tired of dealing with retries, poor performance, attempts to cover up and pass off mistakes, not making attempts to replace my screen before leaving, etc... She tried to tell me they have never had these problems before, but I find that hard to believe since there were so many mistakes and errors! I wish I had spent the money to have the tub replaced. Due to other peoples errors on other parts of the room, I still haven't been able to use the tub, so I don't even know right now if the reglazing will even stay once the tub is used. I certainly hope that everything isn't a disaster and maybe at least the color will adhere! MY recommendation is just replace the tub and save yourself some heartache/headache etc. Never once did they attempt to compensate me for all of the time and errors or anything. I would never do this again!
