GET THE WEBCAM. My dogs were put in a smaller run than I reserved - much too small for two big dogs. They spent most of the weekend locked in their kennel, without access to the outdoor portion of their run for fresh air or a bathroom. I watched them miserable without enough exercise or stimulation, howling, frantically clawing to escape, etc. When I picked them up, I was told my dogs had a great time, which I knew was completely untrue since I had been watching the web cam. Bark Avenue is only an acceptable option if your dogs are content to sleep all day locked in a small kennel without access to a bathroom area. It is NOT for active, intelligent dogs with any separation anxiety. We will never return.

My little munchkin has been going to Bark Avenue for day care for 3 years.  She absolutely loves it and they love her.  They make every guest feel like they're their favorite.  She occasionally gets groomed and stays over night.  THEY.  ARE.  AWESOME!!
Although Day Care is $18/day they offer packages for "frequent barkers".

He gets a bath, haircut and his teeth are brush. His nails are clips, his ear is cleaned and we have been using her for many years.  What I love about this groomer is that she is the only one who can handle my dog. She is not afraid and he knows she will not put up with biting.

They offered an additional and quot;attentionand quot; service costing $10/day which allowed our dogs to interact. We even observed this activity on our phone while in Philadelphia. When we called to check on them they were very courteous. Dogs were fed twice a day.
Definitely, will use them again!

When I first called Bark Avenue, I spoke with Ty. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. I made an appointment for my Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ty and Sarah. The atmosphere at Bark Avenue is very welcoming (and clean). Sarah came from behind the counter to greet Kayla. I was also able to meet with the groomer to discuss what I wanted, and explain some issues that Kayla was having. Watching her interact with my dog, (on Kayla's level), let me know that she would take the time and care to meet Kayla's needs. This afternoon when I picked up Kayla , she seemed happy and contented. Her coat, which was starting to and quot;blowand quot; when I brought her in, was neatly trimmed. Even the hair between her pads had been trimmed. My dog has never looked so good - she looks and quot;show dog ready.and quot; Many times when I've taken her to other places, she will come out with bloodshot eyes, which usually indicates to me that she's upset. After her visit at Bark Avenue, although ready to go home, was not overly anxious. The best part for me is knowing that my and quot;elderand quot; furry baby was well cared for, I didn't spend a fortune, and Bark Avenue is close to home. We will definitely be back. This was my second time using Bark Avenue for boarding my dog(s). She also attends their daycare program and always comes home a happy dog. I can tell she really enjoys her time there!

We love Bark Avenue and so do our pets. We take them there everytime we go out of town. They are so good with the pets and treat your animals like family. Our dogs especially like the swimming pool and play times. We even arrange for them to drop our dogs off at our home so when we get home from a later flight the dogs are already there, which also saves us another night of boarding.

My dogs LOVE this place. They settle in very quickly, busily sniffing noses at the fence and making friends as they leave the reception area and head toward the "guest room" area. The staff are really nice and very professional. I've left the dogs for extended periods of time (2-3 weeks) when I have been travelling, or just a couple of days over a weekend. They have done very well there, and because Bark Avenue uses our vet if there's a medical emergency (Brentwood Animal Clinic), I am confident that if a medical need arises, the furkids will be well cared for until I return home.

We didn’t come back in time the first time but they were able to accommodate us and keep the dogs for the extra days. It is the cream of the crop and the only thing better would be having someone come to your home. They have heating, air conditioning, couches, pools, carpet, and everything. It is really top of the line for pet sitting. It is near the airport and near where we live. We already have plans to use them again. I would add extended hours for pickup; it would be nice to come in later in the day to pick up but that is my only recommendation for this service provider.

My four Chihuahuas and one English Bull were kept for three nights. The Chihuahuas stayed in one run together, and the bully in another. No disappointments in the service. I feel my pets, age 3 to 9 years, were always safe and cared for. The boarding areas were clean and smelled sanitary. This was the first time they had ever been left at a kennel.

The staff is friendly and helpful. When dropping off my dog, I was allowed to go back and see the run that he would be staying in. It was very clean and all of the dogs seemed pretty happy. I was however, disappointed when he was picked up, because there was additional food left over (I pre-portioned his food from home for each meal and his medicine while he would be there). When I asked why he hadn't eaten, the staff said that they hadn't noticed and that they were sure he had eaten per our instructions. (This has happened both of the times that our dog has boarded there) Also, don't bother with purchasing the web-cam option if you have a mac, it won't ever work, and will only work sporadically on a PC.

This work was done two weeks ago, and it was the first time that I used them. I was satisfied with them. The approximate cost listed was per day for him to stay. I will use them again for future service.
