Sent 5 email requests for quote but never received a response.

They never called to schedule appointment when they said they would, and after we contacted them again, they did finally come out to give an estimate. We never received the promised email with the estimate. I have no confidence in their professionalism even if we did somehow find out that they were the lowest estimate

They were friendly. Called ahead of time to let me know when they would arrive. Explained everything that they were going to do and also gave good advice about maintenance.

I'd scheduled the service for my garage door 10 days ahead of time. They were to come between 10 - 12. The day of service they did not come. At noon I called and she (the same woman I had spoken to a week ago) told me I was not on the schedule and she could not find anything in her notes. No offer of apology even though it was Duval's error not mine. She said the best she could do was work me in the next day. I call that terrible customer service. Undependable and poor customer service...I can do better than that!

My stepfather passed away suddenly and he was in the middle of a number of projects around the house. One of these projects was the installation of a new garage door opener. The opener was hung but nothing was connected to the door and the electricial was not connected to the wall pushbutton or the safety eyes. I called Duval Overhead Door and scheduled an appointment for later in the week. The technician arrived aboout an hour later than I was told by the office but it was not a problem for me. He quickly evaluated the situation and got the door working. In a little over an hour the door was fully functional. There were no parts required because I had found all the parts from the kit. The technician was very personable and friendly and I will call them again for any services I need for my garage doors.

Duval did not communicate well. I called three times, and they would not commit to the job. Once here, the technician communicated poorly. He did quality work, though, and the price was great. When finished, the tech did open up and explain what he did.
