This review is for Daniel Harvey, Licensed Building Contractor, State Licensed Home Inspector, Licensed Loss Adjuster, HI 4986, CBC1258826, WI49257, FL. He does jobs for Ameripro and for Inspection Depot.
In the past year we have purchased 2 homes and sold one. Our first Home Inspector cost us thousands of dollars from a negligent inspection. Our second Home Inspector did a good job but not worthy of taking the time to put a review on Angieslist. However in both purchases and the sale, in addition to the home inspector the insurance company sent out an inspector to do a 4-Point inspection. OMG, I wish I had hired Daniel Harvey for the actual home inspection. The man is wonderful, knowledgeable and has an outstanding work ethic.
I remember thinking, should this sweet old man be doing gymnastics to get into the attic scuttle hole.
We were having some phone tag issues on the original scheduling. I ended up calling Daniel’s home after hours and talking to his wife, Lillian. She was fabulous too. So fast forward 6 months and I’m in a panic because our buyers, only one available business day before the closing, is saying that they can’t get insurance because of the home inspection that was done a month ago. All the work on the report was completed within a week. I called Daniel at home at 8:59 pm (sorry, I won’t give his number) and had the nicest conversation with Lillian. She knew the right questions to ask and we arranged for Daniel to come on Saturday morning.
Over the years we’ve had several home inspectors and Daniel’s 4-point inspection was more thorough than some inspections to buy. I highly recommend Daniel Harvey.
