This project had many steps, and was spread out over about 6 weeks. First, they removed the old solar water heating panel on our roof, prior to our roof being reroofed by Neligan Construction and Roofing. After the reroof was complete and fully inspected, American Solar came and installed the solar system on our roof, tied the Enphase monitoring system directly into our home network, and installed the heat pump water heater in the garage. All that work had to be done in various stages, and there were inspections by the City, and JEA along the way.
Mark Krenn and his employees were extremely professional in everything they did. There was great communication along the way; they always called ahead to set up the various stages, and always showed up when scheduled. We were always well informed about what was being done, and why. All aspects of the project were done well. We love our new solar electric system, and heat pump water heater. We love saving energy.

The installation crew came on time. They went over the process with me including how long it would take for the work to be completed; any potential noises; and tools they will be using to do the job.
After the work was completed they cleaned the place. Provided and explained maintenance options available to me to ensure that the solar water heater system as a whole provide me and my family the best output and cost savings.
They even went out of their way to fix an unrelated plumbing issue they identified for free.
All service charges were paid by the company that improperly installed the panel the first time. That is why I do not have the cost.
They did a great job. My system is working fine now and I very happy to recommend them to anyone who is looking to install a solar water heater at their home.
They work was done well and quickly. But, the sales was not well enough. Overall, they have a B. I am going to use them again in the future.
The service with American Solar went very well. The owner was very friendly and personable, and felt like he gave us a good price, as we shopped around. If needed I would use them again.
The installers came out and measured before installation to make sure they would be ready to go on installation date. They were very friendly and polite and on time.
Our panels have been in for about 3 months now and are working great. I'm confident that if I did have any questions, I'd get the same responsiveness I did prior to purchasing. I'm glad we chose to go with a local small business over the "larger" company as I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten the same customer service.
