Karin have the best customer service ever. He was knowledgeable, informative, pleasant, and honest. He told us exactly what we needed to fix instead of talking us into replacing the whole motor (like other companies did). It’s hard to find a trustworthy company when things break down, so when we found someone we can trust like America’s Garage Doors, they have our business for life.

Last week, I heard a loud boom in my garage. The springs broke from it expanding too much in this Florida heat. While my garage door opener was older, it was fixable, excluding the springs that needed replacing. When I had the tech from America Garage Doors LLC come to my home. He quoted me $536.00 to replace the springs so my garage door could be MANUALLY opened, "since our cars were trapped inside". I thought that was ridiculous, so I had another company. @costaldoorandgatellc Coastal Door and Gate LLC gave me another estimate that was much more reasonable. They replaced my whole garage system with springs, new sensors, and a new wall mount for 767.00 dollars. They were done and completed with that within an hour and hauled my old equipment away. I am highly disgusted with America's Garage Door and will strongly advise not to you use them.

Colin did a great job in reinforcing the door hinges hardware, and was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained what the problem was, and how his repair works. We definitely will be in touch when we need further work done on the garage door.

First time the technician came out he found the problem and fixed it. $200 but since he did a good job I figured it was worth it. One week later I noticed door wasn't closing properly so I asked him to come back out. Came back out 2-3 weeks later, lubed the springs and adjusted the door so it would close and asked for another $200. This was a completely unacceptable charge. If anything, it should have been covered under the first visit because it had been less than a month since the first service. Second, a lube of springs does not cost $200. Third, he tried to say he adjusted the motor - no, it should have been obvious the first time that since the motor housing had been moved, it would need new settings. Finally, the door still needs proper adjustment - I can see light coming through under the door when it closes. I called and now it is a whole different problem which is going to cost another $200 or so. I canceled the appointment and am looking for a different company.

Overall, I had a positive experience. They sold me a garage door opener 2 years ago, and it never worked right. The service tech explained that they had a bad experience with that company and offered to replace it for free (not including my original service charge). So I got a new opener installed for $100--not bad. I was pleased that the company did what was right without me even having to ask, so I think they are highly trustworthy. The only complaint I have is that the opener they put in was a little underpowered and doesn't work with my cars' system, so I have to keep an opener in my car. All in all, however, I would recommend them.

The technician arrived as scheduled, evaluated the issue and replaced the rollers that were causing the garage door to not open and close. The rollers caused the door to fit too snugly in the opening, so technician shaved down casing to allow it to function properly. His attention to his work allowed us to get this done quickly without too much trouble.

Work was completed timely and efficiently. A few weeks after installation of the new opener, problems developed which prevented it closing the door unless the wall button was pressed continuously. The technician responded promptly after I contacted the company. The problem was thought to be a misalignment of the safety sensor lights and adjustments were made. The problem reoccurred a few days later and it was discovered that a wire was loose at the opener head. This corrected the problem. Both followup calls were made quickly and at no charge.

The guy did a good job, so this is not a complaint about the work that was done. It took him about an hour and fifteen minutes to replace my springs, one cable, and the rollers on the garage door. He also tightened up the bolts and so far the door seems to be working great. However, the cost for this was nearly $600. Considering that the parts were certainly not more than $100, the $400+ hourly labor rate is pretty much a total rip off. Stay away.

Of course I went to Angie"s List like I always do. Was worried that the door was up all night but luckily our garage is around the back.Made an appointment for the next day. Gave me a 2 hour window and was very prompt.The technician Jeff was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable . He explained everything that was wrong and what he would do to fix it. A cable and metal piece had snapped and also the door opener had something wrong too. Also needed lubrication and some new rollers. I can't say enough about the tech. He was so efficient and pleasant and I am highly recommending this company. He was here a few hours and did a lot.

With hurricane Irma approaching, we were moving our patio furniture into the garage when the springs broke. We had little hope that anyone would answer our calls that Saturday as a lot of businesses were closed. We left a message and, to our surprise, within 30 minutes we got a call back. We were even more surprised when a technician showed up the same afternoon. Joey was very professional and replaced both springs in very little time. We would definitely recommend them and hire them again! Thanks for being there during a very stressful weekend!

Tech adjusted overhead door spring and found numerous broken guide wheels were broken. Replaced all guide wheels and door now open easily
