When the job was completed, this vendor called and offered us a $100 gift card if we wrote a positive review on any site of our choice. You may want to keep that in mind while researching this vendor.
In our opinion, here are the problems with this job.
1. Start of work was significantly delayed. Once underway, progress was very sporadic.
2. Workforce appears to be temporary workers or subcontractors, some of whom appeared to lack training and proper equipment.
3. The workers removed a large section of the roof and left it open to the elements overnight. A storm caused damage to our interior. While it was repaired, it was a major hassle.
4. The work was not completed in accordance with a major requirement of the Florida Building Code. When challenged on this, the staff became belligerent.
5. We had to pay extra and order the materials necessary to bring our job up to Florida Building Code status (we wanted the nightmare to end).
6. The job site was left in a very messy state and only cleaned up when they wanted payment.
7. We have no confidence in the finished product and fear the next major storm.
When you hire a bad contractor, you are trapped. Do your research carefully.

I replaced my roof, partially because I had a leak near the chimney. This company said they would take care of the roof and seal around the chimney. However, the work is all done, my chimney still leaks, and now that I have paid them, they have not been responsive to my calls. This is very frustrating because I have a 15 year guarantee on their work.
