The installation was uneventful. They came, they installed the stuff where and how they were supposed to. They gave us a quick tutorial on how to use everything (I forgot most of it 2 seconds later though) and then they left. The forgot to leave us with any ADT signs for outside of our house though. I called the 1-800 number and the lady I spoke with was very nice and mailed us 2 signs right away.
The Pros:
Its only $51 a month, so affordable.
It works so far. The alarm will go off and scream and wake up the whole house if a door or window opens when its armed.
It has a motion sensor for when you leave the house.
When the alarm goes off, the system immediately emails me and texts me. A few seconds later it will then call me.
So far its been great customer service.
It has volume control so you can make it crazy super loud whenever it talks at all, or you can make it a manageable yelling volume, so it has controls but is always loud.
The Cons:
We had to sign a 3 year contract. So its affordable, but very long term.
Even when disarmed, the monitor screams at you whenever you open a door or window that has a sensor, just to tell you that something has been opened. That was SO annoying at first!
Adding extra door and window sensors were expensive. All of the add ons are pricey.
Less than a month after we moved in to a great neighbor, someone actually attempted to break in. It was feeble attempt with a small screw driver against a regular sliding glass door with 2 different devices keeping it closed, and a lock. But I was very glad that we had the ADT (at the time we didn't have the signs yet since they forgot to send them before). It really has afforded us peace of mind. I

the service representative showed up on time. He was friendly. he was experienced and efficient. He answered all questions.

It is good. The price is reasonable. They were very knowledgable and professional.

So far, ADT has done a great job for me. I am a newer client but they seem to be very on the ball. I like the way I am treated and I have had no problems at all with their services or rates.

This was free of charge to us because of the contract that we signed for the monitoring system. We would also recommend them. They are very reliable and trustworthy. They are always on time and make sure to answer all of your questions. We are overall pleased with them.

I liked that ADT Security Systems were prompt. They were very nice for me to deal with. I would say they did a good job.

ADT Security Systems already charges me $25 every month for their service and when my panel malfunctioned they wanted to charge an additional $77 for 30 minutes of work. This was very hard to pay because I'm on a fixed income and they refused to negotiate a lesser amount.
