The project originally was supposed to take a little over a week, but because of the error in doors, it ended up being three weeks. Though many I think would blame them for the delay, mistakes are simply a part of life, and the manner in which they were handled was exemplary. Wade did not blame anyone, and instead, he and his team made all the necessary efforts to correct things, and at the end, our quoted price was honored and the quality of the work was exceptional and well worth the wait.
The drywall, carpenter, and painting subcontractors seemed very detail-oriented and interested in making sure the project was completed to our liking. Everyone was very responsive when we had questions. Everyone was willing to work around my wife and my busy work schedules. Professionalism in this line of work is rare, and even though the project did not go as planned, their professionalism was very evident. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in future home improvement projects.
I was advised to leave the house during the job as it's best not to breathe the fumes. Fortunately, the refinisher uses equipment that practically eliminates all dust accumulation. This was a huge factor in my decision to go with using AAA. I have had this work done at another home and it took many long hours of intense clean up to rid my house of the wood dust. The refinisher also replaced floor boards due to a prior electrician's improper installation of floor outlets and an area of the floor that had been damaged by water. He made the repairs look seamless and no one would ever know the wood wasn't original to the house. In addition, I had a kitchen drawer that wouldn't stay closed unless I put a doorstop in front of it. Gary, the refinisher, took it upon himself to adjust the drawer and relieve me of my doorstop solution! I just loved how these guys wanted to take care of my home as much as me.
I highly recommend AAA for their level of detail, high regard for customer satisfaction, and quality of work performed. Wade's crew is incredibly knowledgable about the work they do and they take great pride in maintaining the highest standards and integrity. I liked that he was willing to negotiate the final price when the job took longer than expected and I had to stay a few more days at a hotel. It showed me that he took responsibility for the inconvenience and actually cared about how the project impacted my life.
You will not be disappointed with AAA Advanced Residential Rehab. Wade is always available to answer questions immediately and provide all paperwork upfront regarding costs. It was a pleasure to work with someone who actually keeps accurate records and provides punctual and professional service. He has continued to make sure I'm happy with the job and assure me that if I ever need any other work done he's always available to assist me. It's great to have someone in the business who is so concerned with customer satisfaction. Wade values his reputation as an honest and qualified businessman and his customers' approval as a marker of his true success.
Excellent. I purchased this patio door from Home Depot approximately three years ago including installation. Since then the door was difficult to open during hot/humid days. I called the installer a couple of times and he couldn't fix it. Home Depot sent someone from the manufacturer and it got fixed for a few hours. At that point I gave up because I was able to open it with difficulty, and felt it was safer than for my granddaughter to get in the pool by accident.
But the door got worst and it was way past time to have it fixed for good. I was afraid that I was going to pay a fortune thinking that the door frame would have to be removed and the reason the door never worked was because of a major problem with my home's structure.
Dan did things the Home Depot installer couldn't, he fixed the door! I asked why no one before thought of the method he used to fix the door and he said "because I'm a builder." Enough said, it has been about a week since he fixed my door and I keep opening it expecting it to be back to how it was, but it swings like it should have three years ago.
Thank you Dan!
"Easiest customers to work with for the year award goes to..... you sir! Knowing what you wanted going in, working with Marilyn at Prosource to dial the options in, sticking to your choices throughout the project, and the communication between us, was amazing. I offered you a color coordinator/decorator guru named Natalie Cordova, and you said you had a good plan. Although I have to admit, I was a tad skeptical and nervous, (some plans take time to mature when learning, and changes after the fact can be costly) but I will have to stand corrected. Your project came out super sharp and well arranged. With your changes and adjustments working well in their spaces. The listello floor room border idea we/you had, worked out great with the dark slate finger mosaics, contrasting boldly with your Sandstone-esque look of the floor tiles. The wall colors complimented both the trim and doors and did not oppose nor conflict with the flooring or the new addition of interior semi-custom doors in the foyer. I really enjoyed the email and text updates throughout the day about the tile arrival, the payments to Prosource for the flooring, to Home Depot for the carpentry/drywall/trim/doors, and to our favorite, Sherwin Williams for the paints and supplies. If I had a quick question during the day, I could text it to you at work, and within 10-15 minutes you would return a text with the answer. It was almost like you were there, but not. You should start a business consulting homeowners how to optimize the efficiency of their home improvement projects. You folks were great. And having the roommate around to assist was pivotal on the logistics side also. It was a nicely played match sir, with two small blunders being corrected quickly without a single up-charge, re-estimate or unexpected expense or head ache. Keep us in mind for that master bath, I can see a "repeat-customer discount" somewhere in you folks' future. Thanks again, take care!!"
The refinishing work on the cabinets also went extremely well. The work began on time, and progressed smoothly. The room was sealed off to keep dust and paint spray levels to a minimum. The weather posed a bit of a problem since the cabinet doors had to be sprayed outdoors. The crew kept a close eye on the skies at all times to avoid having the paint job spoiled by rain. They worked on Saturday and Sunday to make up for delays caused by rain, completing the job by the promised completion date.
We kept informed along the way of each days schedule and what was going to be accomplished on that day. If there were any changes in the original schedule were informed immediately and advised of any impact this would have on the overall schedule
These two projects were the second set of projects that AAA had done in our home, and we will definitely contact them again when we have additional remodeling needs. A great company that always puts the homeowner first.
"It is my job as a professional is to ensure that projects that we touch, last. Some folks want to fix stuff quick and fast without any concern about the finish quality. Unfortunately we cannot help these folks, they know more than we do!!"
Appt to paint was between 800- 900am. At 900am, the contractor called stating his painter had called in due to having to bring his wife to hospital. I have to admit I was vey irritated and expected a replacement to be sent out to begin the job. Wade, called back in 5 minutes and I was told he was sending someone else out right away. The painter arrived within the hour and proceeded to do a great job. cleaned up after self, ect. Wade, the owner, called several times during the day to check on the job and gave me a $75 discount on the total job.
I would use this company again.
I was moving back to the beach from NYC and came down in late October for a week to see what needed to be done to my condo, which I bought a year earlier after only seeing pictures. I needed to get a contractor started and wanted to be able to make my permanent move the third week in November, so I needed to have someone I could trust to come and go on their own.
After reading the many stellar reviews here on Angie's list I knew I could trust Wade and his crew to do that.
Paint -
The walls in the condo are knock down and a lot of the painting and re-texturing over the years was very obviously done by non-professionals and it showed really badly in some areas. Without replacement they were never going to be perfect and I didn't have the time or resources to do it at this time but Wade promised that he would do his best to make them look as good as he could.
I couldn't believe it when I walked in to the totally completed condo. It was amazing! Looking at the walls you just couldn't see where the "bad" spots were! Also the attention to the trim, which was also pretty bad, was awesome!
Tile-
The master shower floor was a disaster and I didn't realize it until I got there, it had to be done before I moved in. Wade made his suggestions and arranged for a tile man to come in and replace it. Wade made sure the result was up to his standards, it's a beautiful job. Wade also arranged to have the tiles throughout cleaned - another perfect job.
I also need to mention that the entire condo was as clean (except the tiles, which were cleaner :) ) then when I left it!
Wade knows his business and excels at it, his attention to detail is stellar and he keeps his promises.
Do NOT hesitate to hire AAA - you will not be sorry. I will definitely be using them again.
