I negotiated the job and price with Wade Tiller. Wade was very upbeat, told me the popcorn ceiling could be removed and knock down installed in four days while I was out of town. Gave him a $500 deposit. He toured the house told me what furniture needed to be removed and what could stay and be covered. Work was to begin on a Thursday and run through Sunday. Wade assure me someone would be there by 8am Thursday morning. My husband and I left the house at 10am, still no crew to begin the work. Speed up to Sunday evening 6ish. We arrive home and Wade is sitting in his truck in our driveway as we approach he tells us how he is so sick. The job is no completed and we had to get a hotel for the night. The next day we arrive to the house around noon and no one is working. At 6 that evening he shows up to complete the job and was there until 10 pm painting. What a nightmare!! The bathroom (water closet) was not done. When I say not done, it was not touched and still had the popcorn. The plantation shutters in the front of the house were broken. The internet cord was ripped out of the wall, our broom was gone. Two weeks later someone came to finish the job in the water closet. Wade wanted me to pay him prior to that being completed. I refused payment until the job was done. Upon completion I deducted for repairs and replacement for the items mentioned. He said I could take a $200 discount to pay him in cash. I agreed. I typed up a receipt for him to sign. Wade did not want to sign the receipt indicating this is a cash deal and doesn't exist. I told him it he didn't sign for receipt of the cash I was not paying. He reluctantly signed. Bottom line - the ceilings look great Wade Tiller is horrible to deal with, not worth the aggravation!

"Customer is completely correct, job took longer than was expected. I explained to her that moisture and temperature are important for dry/cure times, I am very careful to ensure full dry before painting. She forgot to mention the rain (2 days) and then it got cold (1 day delay). I had the flu at the time and was working 12 hour days. But still managed to show up at her house every day to check on the work. I fixed approx. $600 in re-taping issues without even a mention of a change order or any extra monies needed. My drywall guy broke her bottom shade on her plantation shutters, so I paid a shutter repair pro ($280) to get it beautiful (not $125 from other guys quote). She also failed to mention I touched up her living room, foyer, den, kitchen, halls and breakfast nook after the tape to protect walls pulled down their paint, again no charge. Then she asked me about cash deal then holds it against me? Her ceilings came out really nice and her home was almost dust free. Am I perfect, no. I try but I make mistakes also. I have OCD and I'm into the details. If you look at my rating I think that shows overall. she was so nice her and her husband and then to leave this review was a real slap in the face. especially after I did all the extra stuff for free and actually cleaning and went above and beyond to try to help her out from the delay. And when I told her about the shutter guy she was really happy she was so nice. I thought we had repaired the situation and I thought my extra work had covered her issues but apparently she had some underlying resentments and held them for 3 months until now. I tried to call her and set up a meeting with her and her husband and she hung up on me rudely. I texted her and asked her was there any way we can meet so we can resolve this she will not even answer my texts. I do over 500 projects a year and usually only have one or possibly two customers, per year, that don't love me. She is one of them. if she would only call me we could work out these differences and move forward but instead she's upset which I get. hopefully after another three or four months she can cool off and we can come to an agreement and I can fix whatever she doesn't like. I don't like it when people don't like my work I know I'm not supposed to take it personal but I think I do. I guess that makes me a Craftsman. I'm sorry Miss customer. Let me know how I can fix this. Take care."

Oscar did an excellent job on the ceiling in our bathroom. He even cleaned up exceptionally well!! We had him come back the next week to do another dry wall job in our kitchen and once again he worked quickly and cleaned up well !

They came out the same day to give a quote. We walked around the house and noted spots to be repaired or looked at to be repaired. The price was high, but it had been difficult to get anyone out to do the job and they could start the next workday so I decided to go with them. They were very professional during the walk-around and quote period but after giving me a quote they acted more like a "used car salesman" pushing the sale along. The workmanship was poor in some areas. For example one part of wood repaired stuck out a quarter inch than the existing and they didn't put it with the grain of the existing wood. The window sills were also poorly done with little attention to detail. When additional repairs beyond the scope were found, they quoted a price three times a similar job I had done six months earlier. They did come down on the price. Their initial material fee was no where near what they spent on actual materials.

"We definitely looked at this project, but the customer told us they had "found someone to do the project" when we called back to check on the work. Customer must have given us a review from "whomever they picked". Tried to call the customer back to let them know about the mistake but they haven't returned our call."

Perfection!! After many exterior paint jobs over the 35 years of home ownership we have used many painters. AAA painters were great. With several days of rain they waited time for the house to dry. That is what you want a painter to do. Wade came by frequently to assure we were happy with the job. I would recommend AAA to anyone in need of interior or exterior painting.
Response from AAA Advanced Residential Rehab LLC
"Wow thank you Miss [Member Name Removed]! One of the best painter ever? That's awesome thank you very much and thanks for noticing all the small stuff we do that most people don't even take a second to notice. And thank you for noticing that we like stuff to be dry and ready to paint. Thank you for not getting upset that we weren't there the next day that there had to be a dry day after the rain thank you for understanding that. We are appreciative that you had enough time to let us caress your project to make sure we can dial it in and make it perfect. Thank you for that added time to make sure that everything is done the way we like it to be."

Response from AAA Advanced Residential Rehab LLC
"Thank you Miss [Member Name Removed] for the awesome comment. You are an ideal customer yourself to work with, you always have your colors picked out and ready and you already know what areas you want to paint in which phases. And you know the importance of good material , and always like to use the better products . It's always easier working for someone that knows what they want and has a vision to see what they need in the future. You are one of the sweetest and nicest folks, that we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Thanks again for your kind words"

Wade and his crew of Dave and Ron were absolutely fantastic while painting the exterior of our home. Wade was extremely accommodating and responsive while scheduling the work and handling any changes during. Dave and Ron were meticulous painters and really cared about the quality of their work. A couple of times they came to us and pointed out areas that they felt didn't come out as well as they would have liked and wanted to redo even though we would never have noticed. We're really happy they worked on our home and highly recommend all of them!

Called for an emergency paint job on a Saturday. Came next day to begin fixing my personally botched painting job before my wife killed me. Rain got in the way so a second visit was needed. Painter came promptly and communicated with me extremely well. Final job was a perfectly painted front door (inside and out). Took the time to educate me on the differences in paints and their application. Money well spent. Will absolutely use this company again. Thank you!

Wade's team repaired all of the nail holes and brought the walls back to when they were new. The entire job only took four days and care was taken to protect the floors and down molding. The price was fair because quality work lasts for years! Dedicated professionals!

Wade was available to get our painting done on short notice. He and his painter arrived right on time. Wade even thought to suggest a low-VOC paint when I mentioned having young kids. They did a great job and cleaned up their work area beautifully.

Very responsive to call and request for written quotation for insurance company. Many contractors we called would not even come and give an estimate without a $50 fee. The one other that did was argumentative with our insurance agent. AAA came, gave a quote, immediately scheduled (and on a weekend so we did not have to take off from work). Did the work in a timely fashion. Cleaned up after themselves. Ceiling looks perfect. Would never know there had been any damage. All employees of AAA friendly and hard working. Would call them again if situation arose.

Excellent - one weekend, and now you can't even tell there was a huge water spot and damaged dry wall just 72 hours ago. An estimate was provided - surprisingly something several competitors were unwilling to prepare. Scheduling was quick - within one week. Workers were courteous, on-time, professional and skilled. They protected our furniture and floors, and cleaned up completely upon finishing. And once complete, a final walk thru with the owner was conducted. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Wade and his crew did an excellent job on exterior paint on my home in Nocatee. They were extremely thorough with the stucco preparation and were very knowledgeable on the paint / sealant products. They were very professional and punctual and got the job done on schedule. They have also done two interior jobs for me in the past and I have continued to hire them. They keep the work area clean and know how to work in luxury homes. Highly recommended.

Overall we enjoyed working with this company. The project took 2.5 weeks. While we hoped it'd be a bit quicker, it was fairly painless and we are enjoying the result. Plus, we did tell them we weren't in a rush at the beginning. Wade is very responsive whenever you call or text and quick to find solutions if something isn't quite what you expect. We're very happy with how our room turned out with one small complaint about which I've already told Wade, and he's going to try to come out to fix it. The people on his team we worked with were: Rick (carpentry) - Rick showed up when he said he would each day. He and I worked together to decide how everything should look, and he was open to feedback when we wanted to change things (like making our wainscoting higher on the wall than he had planned). Dustin (flooring) - Dustin arrived when he was supposed to and was easy to work with and kind to our children who wanted to watch the progress. The floor looks great as he paid close attention to varying where knots and extra texture were laid out. He was done in about half a day. Dave (painting) - Dave also showed up when he promised each day. We appreciated how closely he paid attention to small details and even fixed some of the imperfections in our walls before painting. He was careful about taping and laying down paper and other materials to protect our floors, and he was great when asked to add yet another coat to the new door. When he left he made sure I was happy with everything and offered to come back if we found any imperfections in the days/weeks after. Plus, he plays great music when he works. Everyone was was respectful, cleaned up after themselves and were easy to have in our home while the job was getting done.

Lack of supervision Did not meet agreed time line All ladders , pressure washer , paint and supplies stored on my property entire 3 weeks of work Wanted access for all painters to indoor bathroom Attempted to exceed bid price at end of job Threatening remarks to point of involving sheriff dept
Response from AAA Advanced Residential Rehab LLC
"About once a year we get a complete set of nuts, then this would be them. During the estimate the couple were so nice and accommodating. On the first day the wife lost her marbles that we would using a half of one bay on a 5 car garage that the couple weren't even using at the time. Our agreement was for customers to purchase their own materials, at our cost, well when the materials went over my estimated amount they just shut down. I ended up paying for $800 of their products that we put on their house. Just because i was tired of arguing about it, even though they agreed to provide. They complained daily about us being there, and were completely miserable. We have never really met people like this and was unsure on how to act around them. I ended up renting a portable toilet because they were upset that we were using their laundry bathroom. We were glad to get them wrapped up and get out of there. They were more "bothered" by us than anything else."

The first day they were to come out, they did not show up. These cabinets are the original from 1983 and there was a lot of ware and water damage. Much of work had to be performed twice because it was not done correctly the first time. Finish was uneven.
Response from AAA Advanced Residential Rehab LLC
"I should have stuck to my guns. I tried to explain to the customer that staining cabinets a lighter color, other than the original finish is very difficult or even staining in the same similar pallette is difficult. I suggested either staining darker or painting the cabinets for the most optimal finish. But she insisted on a medium oak so we sanded and wood conditioned and did everything we could to get them to look good. They took close to three and a half weeks and still didn't come out perfect. I tried to talk the customer, then, into painting them instead of staining them but she insisted and they came out nice but not perfect. They had years of cooking grease, wear and tear and water damage in several different areas but we applied several coats until we got it to look very nice. They were not perfect but whenever the finish is worn off and the homeowner had not maintained the finish it can cause problems for the next guy trying to work on them. This was more like a cabinet restoration job and less like a cabinet refinishing job. I hope the homeowner sees the importance now of maintaining the finish on the wood."
