I waited a long time to submit this evaluation but after another bad  transaction with someone not involving Angie's List decided to share my experience.  Service was performed by son of the owner of the business who was referred by a friend of my son.  The son represented the business and never revealed that he was performing the service on his own "off the record".  Letter we sent to the owner is included with no resolution.  This was after talking to the owner on the phone.  I thought the owner might do the right thing and either get his son to pay me or do it himself.  Apparently not.  I didn't even ask for a penny back for the poor work the son did representing the company.

On May 24 Brian McCoy did some irrigation work in our yard.  He was paid in full and we received an invoice on the company letterhead.  We had to call him back out 3 different times in the first couple of days to fix or replace parts from that job.   He never responded to the last call  and we called him and left messages several time.  We ended up having to call another irrigation company to fix “his”  repairs to our system.  Since then we have spoken to him three times by phone and he has promised to drop us off a check  as payment for the work done by the other irrigation company.  His last call to us was the middle -end of June informing us he would leave a check under our doormat.  As you might have guessed, we have  received no check from Brian.   He may have been working on his own time, but he was representing your company and gave us the bill on company letterhead.  He never indicated to us that he was not with the company for our job.  Even though you told us you fired him, I would hope you would have some influence over him and suggest that he pay us the $92.00 promised.  This has gone on way too long.
