I didn't use a plus flooring for an install. i just purchased some wood flooring thorugh them that i was able to pick up at a distribution warehouse. I spoke with David. I called a lot of companies including in-state & out-of-state. Some didn't carry the exact wood flooring i wanted, some said it would take 18 weeks, others were too expensive, and others just did not respond back. If David didn't answer right away, he called back. He also answered emails by the end of the day

They are superior. I give them all As.

I contracted with Dave the owner of A Plus Flooring to install hardwood floors with an inlaid compass medalion in my home. After he finished, I paid him in full, but I noticed the medallion seemed to be pointing the wrong direction. The compass medallion was indeed wrongly laid - it is off by 23 degrees. Looking at any map or using google shows the correct direction. I have an ocean front home so it's pretty easy to tell which direction is correct. When I talked to him about it, first he tried to blame me for his mistake. Then he wanted me to pay him extra to fix it. Then he said he would fix it. That was 6 months ago. Every time I talk to him he says he'll get back to me a a couple of weeks. Bottom line - does not fix his mistakes. I would never recommend the company or use him again.

We were trying to match the existing floors but the David gave us the middle quote of threeparticular panels had been discontinued by the manufacturer. David helped get the best match. He was the middle of three quotes. He gave a very realistic and conservative timeline which was important to us since we were coordinating moving. His team was polite and competent as well as clean. We would come see what they had done every few nights. The panels that best matched were 5in panels that made the process of doing the stairs more challenging since the panels had to be cut individually for the stairs. The stairs was a beautiful piece of work. The attention to detail really showed in these stairs and the first step which had to be constructed by David. He also made an effort to used some left over panels in the master closet where it would not be as obvious that the match was not absolutely perfect. A panel came up on one of the stairs a week after the job was completed, David promptly came over to re-attach the panel. Overall, we were very satisfied.

We had to have some very old carpet and pads removed, and wanted them replaced with hand scraped hardwood flooring. A Plus Flooring, Inc. was recommended to us by trusted friends who had used them for installation of hardwood flooring. Even so, in addition to David's estimate, we asked for and received estimates from 3 other flooring companies. We liked the product David offered and contracted with him to perform the job. He and his son began the job the very next week. They removed the old carpet and pads and hauled them away. The floor was cleaned and, being a concrete slab, some leveling was required. The hardwood flooring was meticulously installed along with transition pieces where hardwood met tile or carpet in adjoining rooms. David and his son Nick were very competent and professional at all time, but were also very friendly. They patiently put up with my pesky questions and curiosity. All in all, it was a super job. We are very happy and will definitely use David's company again for any future flooring needs.

The whole job went GREAT with no hitches.
