Fantastic. Eric arrived a few minutes early and that is always a plus. I have been in this house for 20 years and this was my first inspection. Eric explained the process thoroughly and found no issues. He also provided a few options to install a chimney cap. Very professional, did not try to upsell me and provided a reasonable quote. I would trust Eric for any work at my house and recommend A Clean Sweep.

Great work and terrific people

Eric written up an estimate for galvanized steel and stainless steel parts that was needed: a spark arrestor, cover, and rain cap. Stainless steel is $200.00 more than galvanized steel but it was the best to keep moisture out of the chimney and not rust. Eric said I can hold on to the estimate and think about it but I knew I had to do something. He has to order the parts and pull permits and needed a 50% down payment. Normally I don't give a check for work not done but I looked up this company on Angies List and the BBB and he was rated an A on both. Eric said he should get the parts within 3 to 6 weeks, I'm hoping sooner. This is an expense that I did not expect but if I just procrastinate the condition of my fireplace will deteriorate. I rarely use it as it is because the weather is rarely cold. My ratings were C for overall and price because I really didn't expect to pay so much and N/A for quality because the materials are not here yet. I will update this when all is complete.

The guys were both professional and efficient. Within another 30 minutes, they had her problem fixed! Only needed to tighten her storm collar on the chimney and sealed a few rusty screws "just in case". After a storm like Irma, you hear about people price gouging for essential services. A Clean Sweep did just the opposite! My 86 year old mother will be able to sleep tonight not worrying about water damage. I would highly recommend them as honest professionals and thank them so much for their help today!!

Very well. A friend had to handle the meeting for service but said it went good. The people were courteous and knowledgeable.

Told me up front there was a $75 charge for chimney inspection, which would go toward any work done. He inspected and cleaned the chimney and charged $175 (a bit much). The bid for the spark arrestor was way high and I had it done elsewhere.

The service call by A Clean Sweep went extremely well. This company is by far the most professional and informed company I've ever dealt with. I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism and their performance. This was the most helpful home service I've had, and living by the beach, I've had many. I would recommend them to anyone needing any service for their chimney, installation, cleaning or repair.

Recent high winds blew my chimney cap off.  I called A Clean Sweep and they dispatched a crew the following business day.  Very punctual.  I thought it would be simply a matter of replacing the chimney cap but the crew merely did a site survey and estimate.  They did install a temporary cover to prevent rain from getting in.  They also did a chimney safety inspection.  I was offered multiple options ranging from quick fix to lifetime.  We opted for the stainless steel chimney chase and chimney cap/spark arrestor.  The stainless steel chimney chase needed to be custom made (seems chimneys are not standards sizes).  The crew returned 2 weeks later, removed the damaged parts and replaced them with the new ones in roughly an hour.  Quick and efficient.  This is a small business I enjoyed working with them.  Not the least expensive but friendly and quality service.

He was very honest.  He could have told us it needed to be cleaned but he didn’t and only charged for the inspection.  He was also reasonable and and educational and it was the fee that he quoted.

Eric and his assistant were excellent. They were knowledgable and efficient. Jericho knew his business gave me accurate advice about the condition of the chimney. I will definitely recommend them and use hem again.

This was a very positive experience.  The provider was professional and knowledgeable.  When they looked at our chimney, there was so little creosote build up that they let us know a cleaning was not necessary.  I appreciate their honesty!  Since there is no way for me to look at it, they could have very well cleaned it any way and charged me.  But they didn't, and I appreciate their honesty.

The original quote fee was around $175, but they reduced it to $75-80 when they realized we didn't need a cleaning.

They also performed a structural inspection, and identified that the cap/spark arrestor was severely rusted, and strongly suggested we arrange for a new one to be fabricated.  They took the measurements for the cap at the time of the appointment, to prevent a second appointment to take measurements.  They explained our options, gave recommendations, and worked with us to pay for it.

I am very pleased, and expect to use them each year to examine the fireplace.

Very knowledgeable, very courteous and professional. Answered all my questions, gave helpful hints about how to maximize use of the chimney and minimize problems.
