A ABA Locksmith

I called to have three locks re-keyed. They arrived late and got started with the work. "Somehow" the knob on the front door was broke when he started to re-key it although there was nothing wrong with it previously. So he says he will try to fix it, but then (of course) cannot. I am basically stuck now. There is no knob on the front door. This is a rental property 1/2 hour from my home so I do not want to make another trip out there. Surprise, surprise, he has a lock he can sell me. It is some cheap brand, not the Schlage I had in place. I ask him how much and he tells me $65. This is an extremely high price for a simple knob, but what can I do? I say fine, I will have to take it. So then after nearly an hour he is about done, although he initially told me it would only take 20 minutes, and he prepares the bill. The bill lists another $55 for the installation of this knob. He had not mentioned that when I asked about the cost. Who would agree to spend $120 on one knob? Then I see that he is also trying to charge me to key three locks when all he did was key the other two to the new knob he installed. He at least took off that extra cost. On top of the re-keying fee of $35 per lock (not cheap), there is a service call charge of $45. What is this for? I would NEVER use these people again.
