1-800-GOT-JUNK?

On 9/16/2024 I went on line requesting Got Junk to pick up 8 items in a storage facility, in Jacksonville Fl. . Their response was availability that day between 11:30-1:30. The storage had a freight elevator and flatbed dolly’s for their use. They arrived at 2:30pm, two employees, 1 trip to get the items and load their truck, total time, less than 30 minutes! The items included, a small futon, one old dryer, an empty dresser, a small side table, a small foyer table, a small box of 8 dinner plates, and a mirror and small microwave cart. Had I had a pick up truck available it would have all fit in the bed of the truck. Nonetheless I was charged, $573.00 . This is outrageous and when I know they will turn around and sell these items, this company obviously takes advantage of anyone needing this kind of service. Calling customer service and asking for some consideration on the price, as I am a senior citizen and on a fixed income, I got no where. I had called several non profits, ie, Salvation Army, Teen Challenge, Vietnam Vets, and no one was available for a month. I could have waited a month and paid for another storage fee to have a non profit do the pick up, but I wanted to be rid of these items. My mistake I will never do business with these people again and writing this review as a forewarning to anyone using GOT JUNK!

Came out the next day at the scheduled time. Had some large items and many smaller ones to. Quick, efficient and very easy to work with. I would use again!
