Avoid these sheisty liars! My wife had major surgery the other day, so my in-laws, who live overseas, asked me to order some flowers for her. 1-800Flowers.com charged extra to deliver on a Saturday (the day after I placed the order), but guaranteed the delivery date. I got a text message and an email saying that the order was processing for delivery and would arrive on Saturday. Another bouquet sent from friends who used FTD arrived Saturday morning, but the order I placed never showed up. Saturday evening, I got an email from 1-800Flowers stating that they attempted to deliver the gift, but were unable to. That was an outright lie! I had waited at home ready to answer the door until 8:00PM, looking out the window every time I heard a car. They made no effort to deliver and they could have easily called or texted if they were having problems finding our house. After that, I cancelled the order, and the customer service rep insisted on talking to my wife who was in bed recovering. She said I would get an email confirming that a full refund was on the way, but the only email I got was a survey asking about the customer service. I had to call two more times before I actually got the confirmation message to prove my father-in-law’s money would be refunded. Never again!
