This team seems very knowledgeable about this beaches area.  They are very professional and dependable.  They make good on their commitments.

I was hesitant to contact Perschel & Meyer due to the reviews.  I noticed however that the most recent review was in 2014 and  I was referred by my lawn maintenance guy and trust his judgement.  So I decided to give them a chance and I'm so glad I did.  We've been using Perschel & Meyer since November and haven't looked back.  Justin was our initial contact and he has checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything is still going well.  I highly recommend this company!

I've had a termite bond through Perschel for at least 12 years with no problems.  I decided to call them up for a quote on taking care of my small lawn (fertilization and bug control). I've been using a lawn company for the past several years that did a good job on my lawn keeping the weeds and bugs at bay however, they had some personnel and management changes and it was difficult getting them to come out.  I decided it was time to start looking for another lawn treatment company before I started having problems.  The key to my whole story is that my lawn was in very good condition without weeds or bugs and I had only one brown spot from lack of water in the area.  I wanted to keep it in nice condition.   I called Perschel for a quote on lawn services, they sent Jason to give me a quote.  At this point they were prompt and courteous.  I agreed to bi-monthly service.   I was called on Friday August 15th by Perschel with a message that my lawn service would not occur because of the rain.  No problem.  On Saturday, August 16th, my husband mowed the lawn.  On the following Monday, August 18th, a tech came out to spray the lawn.  It rained the same day after treatment.  By Wednesday, August 20th I noticed that the lawn was not looking very good in certain areas.  By Thursday, August 21, there were definite "burned" areas that were all in a row at intervals of the same distance.  The grass had about 8 inch round circles of brown spots that were occurring everywhere.  The line of spots was pretty obvious on the lawn.  Additionally, you could clearly tell that the grass was a different green in one particular area - different from the rest of the lawn.  I called up Perschel and spoke with a supervisor.  Although nice, he told me that 99% of the time when spots are in a row it is due to "mowing".  I explained that the lawn had not been mowed since last week and those burnt areas were NOT there until AFTER they treated the lawn.  He told me he would send Jason out. Jason promptly came out at approximately 3:00 on the same day I called.  I believe it was a surprise to him the way the lawn looked as he saw the pristine condition it was in when he originally came to the house.    He told me it was from gasoline. THis is where the communication quickly became negative.  The lawn was mowed 5 days ago and the burnt spots in a row started showing up AFTER my lawn was treated.  Additionally, the color was off in one particular area of the lawn (in the same area where there was a row of brown spots).  I explained that the whole lawn was getting these brown "burn" spots and they were NOT there before the lawn was treated.  Jason said "they would make it right BUT, he didn't believe it was their fault". My lawn was beautiful and green and now it is all turning brown.  It was implied I was a liar and that I had a leaking lawn mower that caused the "spots".   I have a new lawn mower and it did not leak then and doesn't leak now.  I had a lawn that looked great BEFORE Perschel put chemicals on it now it is turning brown and dying all over the place.   It seems odd that 3 days after they spray my lawn it is turning brown.  It also seems odd that burn spots have a pattern on my lawn and it seems odd that the area that the tech started at is a different color with obvious burn spots at specific intervals. It looks like chemical burns. We are sick.   I don't appreciate the double talk b.s. that was dished out to us and the accusation that these were gas burns.  If it walks like a duck, talk likes a duck, well - I'd say it's a duck.   I paid a check to Jason at that point for the service that made our lawn look worse and thereby cancelled the service.   The integrity of this business is lacking and I would never recommend them for lawn service at all.   I highly recommend that anyone who uses them take a before and after picture of their lawn to protect themselves.  Images are available to anyone who would like to see them.

We've used their services for 15 years and are very pleased with their services.  Just recently returned to Jax after a 13 year overseas absence with our Jax home rented.  The yard looked very good (one of the few things about the house that did) despite our absence and non-caring renters. 

Since I have lived down south (~4 yrs) I have treated my lawn with fertilizer and weed chemicals. Over the past few years I have had issues related to fungus control and it was one the main reasons I hired a lawn services. Perschel & Meyer Pest Management has a great reputation and most of their lawns look great. I initially had a great experience with their service and received yard of the month in the spring. While the company was great at fertilizer application and weed control, they did not address my fungus issues and my lawn significantly suffered (a lots of brown spots and dead areas). I went with another well regarded company and my fungus issues were under control after a few applications.

They are very good.   They are always on time and take care of any problems I have had.

The lawn looks good and they are always prompt.

I pay them monthly. I have been using their services for around a year. The gentleman that comes out is very courteous and always answers my questions. We recently had a pest problem and they came right out and took care of it. The office staff is very friendly as well.

We have had two times where we lost azaleas in different areas of our yard (10-12), as well as some other flowering plants and pittasporums (shrubs). The monthly service reports never listed that these plants had problems nor were any recommendations given to improve their condition. The only acknowledgment came after we initiated a phone call to the company to find out what was wrong. I spoke with the owner two times as well as the technician, and also sent them a letter with my concerns. They never accepted any responsibility for the problems, all they did was make excuses.

We are always pleased with the service of this company. I would recommend them to anyone. They are on time every week and the service is done very well. The workers are friendly as well.
