Excellent handyman experience. I just had a storm screen door installed in my condo in the Marsh Landing Jacksonville Beach area by Daryl with Jax of all Trades. He did a great job for a fair price and was friendly and professional. I will definitely be calling him for future projects and highly recommend him.

Daryl has been incredible to work with EVERY TIME! Daryl has completed many home projects with us. From building out a door frame, ordering and installing a custom door, installing a new front door, replacing plumbing fixtures as well as securing the plumbing structurally, painting, drywall repair,⠦⠦ he can get the job done. He is willing to take the extra steps (even after the job is completed) for a more personalized experience. We trust him explicitly! He even has a key to our place, just in case! Darryl worked only part of each of the 5 days he was here. He left to go get supplies and then ended his day about noon. He left to do another job when there were still 2 items on my list stating that my job took longer than expected. If he had come early and worked later everything could have been finished. He told me the weather was going to be bad, which it wasnt and he said he would play it by ear,; as to when he will get back to me. That is unacceptable to me. I cleared my schedule to be here and my time was not respected.

These guys showed up on time; did an excellent job at a reasonable price.

We had a project which required removing all the existing flooring, and installing new luxury vinyl plank flooring over cork underlayment. This was a long distance project, and Daryl was very good about keeping us informed at every step of the way. He also dealt directly with our association manager in accelerating all the floor specs for board approval , thank you Daryl! Job came in a bit over budget, though I think that is typical with most contractors. Workmanship on the trim and floor layout was excellent, and in the end, that is what is noticed.

Daryl Landis, the man behind Jax of All Trades, is both professional and personable, two attributes of character that don't always go together, and he brings his good humor with him to work every day, which makes it a real pleasure to do business with him. Daryl is intelligent and articulate; he answers his phone and returns calls promptly; and most importantly, he is honest. My wife and I have just used Jax of All Trades for the first time on a fence replacement job, complicated by the fact of ivy vines that had overgrown the old fence for almost thirty years and made taking it down much harder than it would otherwise have been. Danny, who works for Daryl and who did the actual work for us, is a skilled carpenter; he is knowledgeable, diligent, focused, and as much concerned with customer satisfaction as Daryl is. We couldn't be happier with the work Jax of All Trades has done for us, and we will use them again, for sure. In fact, we've already asked them to work up a bid on a small painting job.

I hired Jax of All Trades for several things and am pleased with everything they did: patching & drywall, door repair, new door knobs, ceiling fan installation. I am also going to hire them again in a couple of weeks to do some painting. They pay attention to detail and clean up.
