A family member has been recovering with Dr. Galliano, MD since 2012. Dr. G is excellent. She is concerned with the patient's overall health, employment, education, volunteering and healthy activities. Dr. G takes the time to asks questions and she really listens. She is open to different treatments, different medications and will write things down for you so you do not forget. I only wish that she worked with a therapist who was in-network with BCBS (like she is).
Remember if you need someone to help with mental health issues, a patient (and/or family member) should arrive early for the appointment, come prepared with questions and not expect everything to be fixed in one or two sessions. The mind is very complicated and it takes time to heal / recover...it takes time for the medicine to work properly...and everyone reacts different.
